More: FBI field offices in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and Little Rock, Ark., are investigating the Clinton Foundation concerning allegations of pay-to-play financial and political corruption, according to a report at The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) Sunday.

Mirroring information provided by a former senior law enforcement official that “multiple FBI investigations are underway involving potential corruption charges against the Clinton Foundation,” WSJ revelation confirms what The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group reported in August.

Department of Justice (DOJ) officials repeatedly tried to shut down FBI field investigations. An unidentified senior Justice Department official “voice(d) his displeasure at finding that New York FBI agents were still openly pursuing the Clinton Foundation probe,” according to WSJ.

The Justice Department official “was pissed off” that the Foundation investigation was ongoing. ...Other agents “further down the FBI chain of command, however, said agents were given a much starker instruction on the case: ‘Stand down.’".......

Such a foreign grab requires approval by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, a powerful government tribunal that the secretary of state sits on and heavily influences. Though she had historically postured as a hawk against foreign acquisitions of American assets with critical national-security implications, Secretary Clinton approved the Russian takeover of Uranium One. During and right after the big-bucks Russian acquisition, Telfer contributed $1.35 million to the Clinton Foundation. Other people with ties to Uranium One appear to have ponied up as much as $5.6 million in donations.".......

The bureau and the department agreed to that. And by the way, the laptops are at the FBI for inspection by Congress or federal courts.”
