Hopefully, the soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry don't get wind of this "grueling" schedule. They are on a 13-month tour in Iraq, having reported to the war from a 13-month tour of duty in Korea. Unlike members of Congress, these soldiers don't have the option of shirking their duties, arguing over procedural technicalities, throwing tantrums when things don't go their way, blaming others for failures then proclaiming it all "successful," while collecting their paychecks.".......

Thing is, Col. North wrote that in 2005, TWELVE YEARS AGO.

It's not just that "Things haven't changed much. tsk, tsk, tsk...". Things HAVE changed. Drastically. For the worse. Much worse.

AND CONGRESS IS ACTING LIKE THEY'RE  ENTITLED TO ICE CREAM AND PONIES.

You must get the President’s agenda passed, but, at the same time, you must keep us in the loop. See, we don’t trust you. You haven’t earned our trust. We know you hate the idea that we are going to hold you accountable for what you do and fail to do and you don’t like it. Too bad. Because now we’re watching, so you better communicate with us to explain what we see and why it’s not surrender or failure. As the hep kidz say, we’re woke.
The enemy is motivated and energized, but right now, we’re “Meh.” The only way we will become un-meh is via results, and results aren’t merely passing legislation. “Results” means “a tangible improvement in our lives.” Because the situation out here is getting worse. Our country faces the terrifyingly real chance of falling apart if you fail.".......

Wouldn't working five days a week (*gasp*) set a good example? And forgoing the month-long August vacation that Congress hasn't really earned would send a shock-wave through the country.

Instead, we get Jeb Bush back-stabbing the president for revenge, instead of emulating his father, who graciously offered to help. We get John Boehner, trying to stay relevant by bashing President Trump. We get John McCain, who once refused early release by his captors, because as an admiral's son, it would have hurt the other POWs. That took more courage than I may ever know. But now he's in England, bitching to the newspapers about how Obama was a better American leader. If you really believe that, Commander, it's time for you to retire.

And that's just Republicans. The Democrats are in full-Russian Retard-mode, screw the country. Hillary Clinton, once described as having "the mind of a prison matron and the soul of an East German border guard", is melting down every time she appears in public. The Clintons sold their integrity so long ago that they can't even find the shoebox where they keep the receipt.

The New York Times is leading the charge on Russian Collusion, and well they should. They're the experts, having colluded with Russia for the entire Cold War.

These Phony Stalingrad Witch Trials that the Corrupt Class has foisted on the country only prove why Donald Trump was needed to begin with.

I know there are some good people in D.C. and some progress has been made. But there is not nearly enough of either. Not even close.

You people don't get it. You think you're all there in Washington because you're the Bestest and the Brightest-est.

YOU ARE ALL ON PROBATION. You have all screwed up and nobody--NOBODY-- is taking ownership of any of it. You--careerists, hacks, time-servers, extremists and cronies--have run this country into a ditch and you better Get Woke.
