Dr. Zelenko's Hydroxychloroquine Regimen: "Hit It Hard, Hit It Fast!"

Good News--UPDATE: FDA Issues Emergency Authorization for the Use of Hydroxychloroquine to Combat Coronavirus Effective Immediately

"During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. Call me in the morning."--Dr. George Orwell

Mayor Guiliani interviews Dr. Vladmir Zelenko of New York here.

The doctor emphasizes the need to "Hit it hard, hit it fast" with early treatment to avoid the need for intubation and ventilators, especially when there is already shortness of breath.

Not a doctor, but as best I understand it, the hydroxychloroquine attacks the virus, strengthens the immune system and creates a pathway for the zinc, which helps prevent the virus from reproducing. The azithromyicin is to prevent any opportunistic bacterial (not viral) infections. Again, to the best of my understanding.

His standard dosages:
200 mg twice a day HCQ (hydroxychloroquine)
500 mg once a day azithromycin
220 mg once a day zinc sulfate
Daily cocktail for 5 days.
Cost: @ $20.

Dr. Zelenko reports treating about 500 patients with good results. Zero intubations. Zero deaths. Only three hospitalizations, the three patients having other risks factors and all three with a good prognosis.

Gateway Pundit: "French research team led by the renowned epidemiologist Dr. Didier Raoult was able to repeat his findings from a previous study. This time Dr. Raoult administered hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin to 80 patients and observed improvement in EVERY CASE except for a very sick 86-year-old with an advanced form of coronavirus infection."

Tech Startups: "Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are extremely well-known drugs which have already been prescribed to billions of people. In conclusion, we confirm the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine associated with azithromycin in the treatment of COVID-19 and its potential effectiveness in the early impairment of contagiousness. Given the urgent therapeutic need to manage this disease with effective and safe drugs and given the negligible cost of both hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, we believe that other teams should urgently evaluate this therapeutic strategy both to avoid the spread of the disease and to treat patients before severe irreversible respiratory complications take hold,” the team concluded. March 28 Update: In a Twitter post day, Prof. Raoult said: “Our study concerns 80 patients, without a control group because we offer our protocol to all patients with no contraindication. This is what the Hippocratic Oath that we have taken dictates to us.”

Lifezette: "When asked about Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issuing a statewide ban this week on doctors using the drug combo, Santilli explained it is a terrible decision on her part and added ominously: “She is sentencing people to death.” This is not a time to be playing politics when people’s lives are at stake. Santilli added that he isn’t the only one that is alive because of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin. He said the medical staff told him other patients were also responding well to the treatment and their lives are also being saved."

“I’m Actually Ashamed She’s Our Governor” — COVID-19 Survivor Jim Santilli Blasts Michigan Governor For Banning Drug That Saved His Life:

"The physician came to see me and told me basically that they had exhausted all options at that point,” he said. “That was the scariest part – being in the hospital, trying treatment and not getting better. That was the first time in my life I had experienced something so horrible. “The infectious disease physician came to see me and immediately recommended using hydroxychloroquine and the azithromycin. Immediately upon receiving the hydroxychloroquine, as well as the azithromycin that Saturday evening, probably within a period of about 2 hours, I got a drastic improvement, a total 180 degrees. The gasping for air stopped. My vitals were improving,” Santilli said. “To be honest – I was in tears because I actually had hope. I felt that I could finally beat whatever I was battling.”...…...…...…………………...…...……...….

NY Post: "Two coronavirus patients in New York City are off ventilators and out of intensive care after they received Leronlimab, an experimental drug to treat HIV and breast cancer.... Of seven critically ill patients who received the drug in New York, two were removed from ventilators and two showed significant improvement."
"FDA commissioner: Be wary of anyone claiming they can cure COVID-19. Talk to your doctor."

Yes--and also be wary of FDA commissioners who say they will get around to finding a cure in a couple of years or so. Talk to your doctor about that, too.

Dr. James Todaro: "WHO: Jan 14: “No clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of coronavirus" Feb 7: "Masks don't necessarily protect you" Feb 17: "...extremely cautious using term pandemic" Mar 23: Treating COVID19 w/ Hydroxychloroquine could cause a drug shortage What's the theme here?"

A: China, Inc. --and friends. WHO also recommended no travel bans.

This has happened before:

These old photos remind us that, except for the centenarians among us, our whole lives have been lived
on the other side of the massive, devastating worldwide Spanish Flu Epidemic of 1918.
We got through that, and we'll get through this, too. We're Americans.

Another 30 Days To Stop The Spread:
Vice-President Mike Pence: "Over the next...weeks, there are actions that every American can and should take to help us slow the spread of the coronavirus. If we succeed in limiting the number of new cases, then we can dedicate more resources to the most vulnerable and save lives.
As the President said, if you or anyone in your household is sick, then please stay home. The elderly and those with serious health conditions should also stay home and stay away from other people, even if they do not have symptoms of the coronavirus.
No one should visit a nursing home, retirement home or long-term care facility unless to provide necessary care. All Americans should avoid unnecessary travel, restaurants, bars, public food courts and gathering in groups of more than 10 people. Kids should stay home from school, and Americans who do not work in our critical infrastructure — like health care or pharmaceuticals — should work from home.
It’s always a good idea to practice common sense to protect your health and the health of your family, but it’s especially important right now. Use good hygiene. Wash your hands, especially after touching frequently used surfaces like doorknobs.
Use disinfectant on frequently used items and surfaces. Avoid touching your face. If you have to sneeze, then use a tissue or the inside of your elbow.
These steps might seem small, but they can make a big difference for your family, your community and our country. Stopping the spread of the coronavirus over these next weeks can prevent many more cases in the future and even save the lives of those at risk."
With the courage of our doctors and nurses, with the skill of our scientists and innovators,
with the determination of the American People, and with the grace of God,
WE WILL WIN THIS WAR. When we achieve this victory,
we will emerge stronger and more united than ever before!
