The FBI and Washington Post Continue Cover-Up, As State's Attorney Calls Baseball Shooting What It Is: "An Act of Terror"

"Radical Democrat Terrorism"

They won't say the words.

The FBI still calls it an "assault".

The Washington Post, where "Democracy Dies In Darkness YadaYadaYada", completely omitted the D.A.'s finding of political terrorism from their story,  the most salient fact in the D.A.'s new report. The Post even categorized the story under local Public Safety, like a vicious dog or a malfunctioning traffic light.

The State's Attorney:

"6.0  Findings

The evidence in this case establishes beyond a reasonable doubt that the suspect, fueled by rage against Republican legislators, decided to commit an act of terrorism as that term is defined by the Code of Virginia. See Va. Code §18.46.4.

The suspect, using a lawfully-purchased assault rifle and handgun, ambushed a peaceful assembly of people practicing baseball and began to fire indiscriminately in an effort to kill and maim as many people as possible.

In pertinent part, the Code of Virginia defines an “Act of Terrorism” as “an act of violence… committed with the intent to (i)intimidate the civilian population at large or (ii) influence the conduct or activities of the government of the United States, a state or locality through intimidation.”

Despite being compelled to scold Hillary Clinton for her multiple felonies, ex-Dir. James Comey used the FBI as a Clinton Campaign tool, involving the Bureau in wiretapping the Trumps and manufacturing the Steele Dossier. Second-in-command Andrew McCabe is still there, despite having received $1.6 million from Clinton, Inc. for his wife's campaign.

The FBI will not call this political terrorism simply because they are Democrats, too.

Ditto for the Washington Post. For all their "Darkness" posturing, they have decided to subtract from the sum of human knowledge. Facts are getting in the way, so the facts must yield to their political agenda. Incidentally, this is a habit that began when the Democrat Establishment chose to downplay Jack Kennedy's assassination by a Communist and Bobby Kennedy's assassination by a PLO terrorist. They preferred to blame conservatives, then and now. Facts give way to political agendas. Hence we see them report this act of Radical Democrat Terrorism as a glorified liquor store robbery.

I'm not saying they should whip up hysteria or put the gun in Pelosi's hands (as they did with Palin); I'm asking that they tell the simple truth, just like Commonwealth's Attorney Brian L. Porter did.

These are the institutions we used to count on to tell us the motives of the Vegas terrorist. If we ever find out what those motives are, it will be in spite of the FBI and the Washington Post, not because of them.

Because their motives come first.
