"While Congress voted to give Charlie Gard a meaningless U.S. residency, they just voted to keep a system that will segue into the National Health Service, which is the British government's way of deciding who lives and who dies.

To recap, the taxpayers just moved heaven on Earth to fund minor eye surgery/brain surgery/cranial transplant for John McCain, then spared no expense to fly him back to Washington so that Obamacare can live until it devolves into the National Health Service.

It is easy to blame voters in Arizona for this mess, but 50 other senators enabled him to do this, didn't they?

It's not just McCain and every Democratic senator and a few RINOs.

Age limits and term limits might help, but there is an ample supply of replacements out there who are even worse. Barbara Boxerbot gave way to Kamala Harrisbot.

Vote them out?

Maybe ObamaCare should be called "John-JohnCare", since it was rescued by John Roberts and John McCain.

When Chief Justice Roberts rescued ObamaCare, he had to make words mean the opposite of what they mean. He said he was respecting democracy, but really he was short-circuiting it; many lawmakers had then been elected because of ObamaCare, and they would have had to work it out with Obama but for Roberts' scofflaw meddling.

Fittingly, that was the same court term which produced same-sex "marriage". Obama lied to the voters about being against it, while packing the Court with leftists he knew would impose it. Those arrogant hacks didn't let him down, decreeing that American society was too stupid to have a say in defining the institution that is a major building block of that society.

This is what passes for governance today; arrogance, Big Government statism, subterfuge and judicial tyranny.

But let's not forget hypocrisy and greed:

The President is referring to the Illegal Obama Exemption given to Congress and their staffs, a subsidy worth $5,000 per individual and $12, 000 per family that Congress has enjoyed for years, courtesy of the taxpayers. An un-American exemption granted by an anti-American president.

And soon-to-be ended by a real American president.

If he can live with Washington's handiwork, so can the Congress. Let them live under their own rules.
