"Some People Did Something"? Morally Wrong, Factually Wrong

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D.-Somalia: "CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."

Omar is not just morally wrong, but as Don Surber caught, she is even factually wrong also. 

CAIR was not founded "after 9/11". It was founded by Hamas groupies after the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993. Some of them were even involved with the bombing and all of them have said their goal is to impose Sharia Law on second-class Americans. CAIR is not a Civil Rights organization; it is an anti-Civil Rights Muslim Supremacist organization by their own admission.

"CAIR was co-founded in 1994 by Nihad Awad, Omar Ahmad, and Rafeeq Jaber, all of whom had close ties to the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), which was established by senior Hamas operative Mousa Abu Marzook and functioned as Hamas’ public relations and recruitment arm in the United States. Awad and Ahmad previously had served, respectively, as IAP’s Public Relations Director and President. Thus it can be said that CAIR was an outgrowth of IAP.

CAIR opened its first office in Washington, DC, with the help of a $5,000 donation from the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), a self-described charity founded by Mousa Abu Marzook. In May 1996, CAIR coordinated a press conference to protest the decision of the U.S. government to extradite Marzook for his connection to terrorist acts performed by Hamas. CAIR characterized the extradition as “anti-Islamic” and “anti-American.” When President Bush closed HLF in December 2001 for collecting money “to support the Hamas terror organization,” CAIR decried his action as “unjust” and “disturbing.”

CAIR promotes a radical Islamic vision, as evidenced by the fact that its co-founder Omar Ahmad told a Fremont, California audience in July 1998: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran … should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” In a similar spirit, co-founder Ibrahim Hooper told a reporter in 1993: “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.” In 2003 Hooper stated that if Muslims ever become a majority in the United States, they will likely seek to replace the U.S. Constitution with Islamic law, which they deem superior to man-made law. In the late 1980s, Ihsan Bagby, who would later become a CAIR Board member, stated that Muslims “can never be full citizens of this country,” referring to the United States, “because there is no way we can be fully committed to the institutions and ideologies of this country.”...….

Even though they caught Ramzi Yusef and his partner at the airport with fake passports, he was still allowed to enter and claim asylum even though his partner was arrested with bomb manuals. Yousef used the Blind Sheik's mosque to plot war on us while he was causing car wrecks for insurance money. He ordered bomb chemicals from his tax-payer provided hospital bed. 

It was only their poor engineering skills that didn't bring down the Towers in '93.

Later, the bombers were given tax-payer-funded lawyers who were helping them plot more attacks. They were also given government secrets on discovery while they maimed their prison guards.

They murdered these Americans that day (per Wiki):

Pregnant? Then that makes seven Americans. 

Their memorial was buried in the rubble on 9/11 after we let even more of these savages in.

Omar must think Muhammed Atta's right to a federally-funded crop-duster was violated when he showed up at the Dept. of Agriculture in a dress and a wig, asked for a loan and an aerial photo of DC and threatened the bureaucrat there with death.

Omar herself was allowed to come here, gain citizenship, milk the welfare system, commit immigration fraud by marrying her brother and then serve in Congress. It doesn't sound like she was oppressed to me.

"But the broader point to be made here is the way the effort to shift the discussion about 9/11 from a seminal moment in the long struggle against Islamist terror to a mere excuse to discriminate against Muslims is now being used to downplay Omar’s anti-Semitism. The debate about this mythical backlash has been going on for a decade, especially during the controversy over an abortive attempt to build an Islamic center within the shadow of the fallen World Trade Center towers. At that time, I wrote in Commentary magazine about the way false fears were being used to make Muslims appear to be the true victims of the slaughter. But it’s now being weaponized again to portray an unapologetic anti-Semite like Omar as a victim. The point of this campaign is to protect her and all others who seek to delegitimize Jews and supporters of Israel with an impenetrable cloak of immunity that belongs to victims.

Decent persons—Jewish and non-Jewish, Republican or Democrat—cannot allow this big lie to stand unopposed."…….

But she's right about one thing:

There was indeed spying on the community and massive governmental violations of the law so that "all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."

That community was Donald Trump, his campaign, his administration and the Americans who elected him--and even those who just want honest elections, not coups. 

It will come as a shock to these Islamic and Social Justice Supremacists, but--and you may want to brace yourself here-- OTHER PEOPLE ALSO POSSESS CIVIL RIGHTS! Not just you and your freaky friends! These phony FISA warrants and all the spying are Civil Rights violations of the highest order.

You see, Donald Trump and the people who support him are entitled to "Social Justice", too.
