Nixon's Revenge: Wingtips on the Beach--Never Go Full-Milhaus!

Hillary's Enemies List

"I take responsibility for every decision that I make, but that's not why I lost. You're why I lost!"

Bribe Me-Granny's interview at CodeCon in Palos Verdes today was a scary Conspiracy Theory Tour-de-Force and a horrifying Pity Party for the Ages. All it lacked was narration by Vincent Price.

At one point, she even gave the Nixon double-peace sign, with the same haggard look and dark circles under the eyes. I think I even saw a five-o-clock shadow.

Hillary wants you to know that she absolutely takes full and complete responsibility for the debacle...

Goldman Sach's Venezuelan Blood Money and Boeing's Dirty Iran Deal: Is Money Everything?

Really? Everything?

"Have you no sense of decency, sirs? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?"

The Burning Question of Our Age: "Is there a nickel in Zyklon B futures?"
In the sack with Sachs: the fat-ass bus-driver billionaire buys more bullets with Goldman's help
Fausta reports:

Venezuela: Goldman Sachs bought PDVSA bonds
$2.8 billion worth:
(WSJ) The New York-based bank’s asset management division last week paid 31 cents on the dollar, or about $865 million, for bonds issued by state oil company Petróleos de Venezuela SA in 2014, which mature in 2022, according to five people familiar with the transaction. The price represents a 31% discount on the trading Venezuelan securities maturing the same year.
The investment comes as Mr. Maduro’s detractors lobby hard to block Western financial institutions from doing transactions that support the cash-strapped government, which has been accused by the U.S. and other countries of widespread rights abuses.
Apparently GS is betting that a change in government would double the bonds’ value.
Good luck with that.
This move is peanuts in GS’s $40 billion emerging markets amount out of the $1.3 trillion the asset management branch manages, but Frank Muci at Caracas Chronicles calls it Meth Finance: It’s like ripping out the electric wiring from the walls of your own house to sell the copper and get your next crystal meth fix.”
As long as someone is willing to be part of the debt pyramid scheme, it’ll continue. Let’s hope it’s not the U.S.".......

Goldman has also helped prop up the Commies in Ecuador. I don't even want to know what they do in Cuba.

Big corporations help rotten regimes all the time. Facebook helps Pakistan $ilence di$$enters. Everybody does business with China. Exxon Inc. works deals in Russia while Clinton Inc. sells them our uranium and technology. Boeing is trying to sell aircraft to Iran, to be purchased with the ransom money Obama lavished on them. Or better yet, they'll buy on Ex-Im credit and the U.S. taxpayers will be on the hook when they default with the airplanes.
"a Boeing representative shaking hands with Alaei, who has been identified by Congress as a "prominent and longtime member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps," which is responsible for killing and wounding scores of U.S. troops."

Just like Boeing, this soldier also met with Iran, in the form of Iranian I.E.D.s
But this is a gratuitous money-grubbing gut-punch to the people of Venezuela. Goldman Sachs is financing their repression.

FOX: "It is apparent Goldman Sachs decided to make a quick buck off the suffering of the Venezuelan people," Julio Borges, head of Venezuela's opposition-controlled congress, said in a public letter to the New York bank's chief executive, Lloyd Blankfein. "I also intend to recommend to any future democratic government of Venezuela not to recognize or pay on these bonds."

Good. Blood money is risky business, no?

They may just be pesky little brown people to you, Goldman, but they deserve to be free, too.

And so do Iranians, Boeing--despite Barky's lapdog subservience to the Mullahs. Boeing, once an American aviation icon, now just another amoral cabal?

Shame. $hame on you all.

Iranian students on the brink of freedom in 2009, before Obama rescued the Regime

Venezuelans on the brink of freedom today...

These are what real Resistance Movements look like, not the phony temper tantrums by the American Left

List of Leakers, Leaks of Listers

Thanks, Obama!

Patriot Post: "The impression created by the media is that Trump is so inherently incompetent that members of his own staff are doing the leaking. The image is one of utter chaos in the West Wing. In reality, many of the leaks are likely coming from political appointees of Barack Obama who remain in the White House. In the waning days of his presidency, Obama transferred these political appointees to civil servant status in order to make it harder for them to be terminated by the incoming president.

As The Daily Signal revealed last December, “After President Barack Obama exits office, at least 88 of his political appointees will likely remain working in the federal government under a Donald Trump administration, according to numbers from the Office of Personnel Management.”

Remember when Mitt said Russia was the biggest threat and Obama said it was al Qaeda?

They were both wrong.

Memorial Day 2017

"There they now stood, side by side...with arms in their hands, silent and fearless, willing to shed their blood for their rights...John Parker, the strongest and best wrestler in Lexington, had promised never to run from the British troops; and he kept his vow. A wound brought him on his knees. Having discharged his gun, he was preparing to load it again, when he was stabbed by a bayonet, and lay on the post which he took at the morning's drumbeat..."--Historian George Bancroft, founder of the Naval Academy, on the Battle of Lexington Green, where 70-some Minute Men faced 700 British Regulars, Apr. 19, 1775.

***CNN BREAKING NEWS UPDATE*** PRESIDENT HID BEHIND CHILDREN FOR SECRET MEETINGS WITH PUTIN IN MOSCOW

"We've Really Got Him This Time!"

"This...is Си-эн-эн!
We interrupt our regularly-scheduled program for a CNN Breaking News Update."

"Anderson Cooper here, "reporting" for CNN."
"We're awaiting yet another felony leak from John Brennan unnamed current and former officials. We are told it will prove conclusively that the President had multiple surreptitious meetings with Vladimir Putin in Moscow."
"Let's bring in my colleague, CNN's Kate Bolduan, to yell hysterically at anyone who suggests our reporting is anything less than the Pure, Sweet Voice of Reason and Truth.
Kate, what have you got?"

"Well, Anderson, we put in an order for a leak that would implicate the children, so we're hoping this will bust the Back-Channel Conspiracy wide open, throwing the Electoral College vote into doubt, resulting in Hillary Clinton being swept into power by mobs of hooded goons we hope to incite."

"Yes, our Democracy demands it, Kate. Now, when you say "Back-Channel", do you mean like the Kennedys' had? Or the back channels Obama had with the Ayatollah for his entire presidency and even when he was just a candidate?"

"Anderson, you're going off script here. You're losing the thread like Wolf Blitzer at a Jeopardy Tournament. Focus, man, focus!"

"Can I say something?"

"No. Let's bring in our future CNN colleague Shepard Smith now.
What can you tell us, Shepard?"
"Thanks, Anderson. We're all just waiting for Brennan's email, which, based on the conference call we all had with Valerie Jarrett earlier this morning, will show Putin disguising himself as a tourist to meet with the President. That conclusively proves the guilt of all the conspirators, and especially the President of the United States.
It's a wonderful tragic and historic day for our nation, Anderson."

"That kind of top-notch hysteria is why you'll soon be working at CNN, Shep."
"Thank you, Anderson. And when I accept my Pulitzer, I'll mention all the little people such as yoursel...[*"You've Got Mail!"*]...Here it is, Anderson! The evidence of the Vast Criminal Collusion between Putin and the White House that will bring down an American President!

Finally! The proof we've all been hoping praying manufacturing waiting for!"

Dixon Calling: Don't Buy Into the International Warm-ening Racket, Mr. President

"One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole. We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy."-- Ottmar Edenhofer, co-chair U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group on Mitigation of Climate Change

"I suspect that “human flourishing” to this fellow is not “progress,” at least as I understand it. I see progress in the scientific as well as cultural and political sense: better medicine, cooler media, faster information-distribution systems, more freedom, more prosperity, the spread of individual and property rights across the globe. I think he means “human flourishing” to mean everyone agrees to wear the same itchy hemp robe and chant the Happy Planet Song while we tote buckets of night soil to the communal plot."--James Lileks

BBC: G7 talks: Trump isolated over Paris climate change deal

"The US has refused to recommit to the agreement, saying it will make a decision next week.

Mr. Trump, who once dismissed global warming as a "hoax", has previously threatened to pull out of the accord.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the discussion on climate change had been "very unsatisfactory", adding "we have a situation of six against one".

Mr. Trump tweeted: "I will make my final decision on the Paris Accord next week!".......

And it's still a fraud, Mr. President. The only reason that one man is even deciding this is because it was an anti-Constitutional One-Man Treaty to begin with. Why? Because it was so bad that not even the squishy Senate would ever approve.

Bloomberg accidentally backs into some truth here:

"This isn’t the first time the arrival of a radically different U.S. president has tested the club’s unity, according to John Kirton, director of the G-7 and G-8 Research Group, at the University of Toronto, recalling Ronald Reagan’s first such summit in 1981, in Canada.

Then, too, the other G-7 leaders saw the new U.S. leader of the free world “as on the far right, with little experience in foreign affairs,” said Kirton -- someone “who believed in the magic of the market place and that America would ride tall again in the saddle after the defeatism and weakness of his Democratic predecessor.’’

In the event, the expected fireworks failed to ignite. Reagan was in listening mode and against expectation agreed to attend a later United Nations event on the equivalent issue of the day to climate change: whether the rich north should aid poorer countries in the south.".......

That's right--they are equivalent because Climate Change isn't about Climate: it's about sending American money and sovereignty to foreign entities also.

And Reagan never bit.

Bloomberg continues: "Reagan’s second summit is generally considered the least successful in G-7 history and could provide a cautionary tale. It descended into acrimony over U.S. opposition to proposals by the Soviet Union to build gas pipelines to Western Europe. The U.S. followed up by imposing sanctions that affected some of its G-7 allies.".......

It was the "least successful"--if you don't count liberating Eastern Europe, ending the Soviet Union and winning the Cold War. But other than that, a "cautionary tale". They never stop, do they? Just like the Weather!

Another Reagan-esque moment via Reagan speech-writer Peter Robinson: "The parallel again is very striking. Jimmy Carter gave a speech at Notre Dame several years ago in which he warned Americans about the inordinate fear of communism, the notion that we have to learn to live with them, that they would be around for a long time, we’d be around for a long time. And Ronald Reagan came in and simply changed the way people thought about the matter. Likewise, once again, Barack Obama… engaged in a long retreat from the rest of the world and the rest of the world got more dangerous. Along comes Donald Trump, and say what you want about his speaking style, about this or that, the leaks. All of that is secondary. He is reasserting the American place in the world.".......

Trump is reversing Pres. B. Hussein Wiretapper's "Acceptable Level of Terrorism"-Policy: "Just keep your head down--you'll get used to it."

REAGAN AND TRUMP TO OUR ENEMIES: "We Win, You Lose." aka "Victory", losers.

Just as the entire Foreign Policy Establishment wanted to remove Robinson's "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this Wall,"-line from Reagan's speech, they want to bend Trump to the Global Warming Cult. Reagan refused--and so should Trump.
"This Wall is coming down if I have to do it myself!"

Peter Robinson: "One day in 1977 Ronald Reagan asked Richard Allen, who would become his first national security adviser, if Mr. Allen would like to hear his theory of the Cold War. "Some people think I'm simplistic," Mr. Reagan said, "but there's a difference between being simplistic and being simple. My theory of the Cold War is that we win and they lose. What do you think about that?"
From the Archives:

“For a century, Edison's light bulb was regarded as a beacon of American genius; then it became a 'climate criminal." That transformation is American decline in a nutshell.”--Mark Steyn

Climate Change is not a problem; it's a solution. It was not discovered; it was invented.

Long before there was Climate Change (aka Global Warming aka Global Cooling aka "the weather"), the Left wanted to control industrial policy, raise taxes and shift American money, power and sovereignty to unaccountable international bureaucracies. But the voters wouldn't let them.

That's the "problem".

Solution: Climate Change. Bingo! Problem solved! Suddenly, the weather dictates that we must enact all the Left's favorite Policies...OR THE PLANET WILL END IN 20 MINUTES!

Would the Left believe me if I suddenly "discovered" a climate phenomenon that demanded less regulation, lower taxes and Putting America First? Those are great ideas, but they don't make it snow or blow.

Obama just poured another $500 million down the UN Climate Rat-hole as a parting gift to the Transnational Blob. Could your community have used those funds to address real problems?

Too bad. Obama doesn't believe in your community. He believes in the UN.

Did you get to vote for the UN?

That's $500 million that will never solve actual pollution. It will disappear down the maw of the Blob, never to be seen again, to be spent on mistresses at the French Riviera and on wishful thinking that it will lower temperatures by a fraction.

Of a fraction.

Of a fraction.

A century from now.

Maybe.

To wit, Instapundit:

"When you read a science report claiming that 2016 was the hottest year on record, you might expect that you will get numbers. And you would be wrong. “Note to the New York Times: ‘trouncing’ and ‘blown past’ are phrases appropriate to sports reporting, not science reporting. Except that no sports reporter would dare write an article in which he never bothers to give you the score of the big game. . . . It’s almost like they’re hiding something. And that is indeed what we find.” TLDR: Increase is one-hundredth of a degree. Margin of error is a tenth of a degree. So it’s all bullshit.".......

"But...but 97% of scientists agree!" No they don't.

That bogus number includes scientists who vary from Full Cult Leaders to those who think Climate Change is just a footnote. And vary wildly on what should be done, if anything. It also includes a great number of scientists who get their funding directly or indirectly from politicians.

Big Oil scientists are dismissed as stooges because of their economic interest, but Big Government scientists are pure disinterested champions of truth and justice? I don't think so. Polling them is like polling a group of little kids with a microphone in one hand and a bag of candy in the other.

The Science isn't Settled. Only the politics are.
#That'sHowYouGotTrump.

Don't Go Wobbly Now, Mr. President.

Climate Change is Not a Chinese Hoax: It's a Job-Killing, Control Freak Leftist Fraud, Just Like the One You Beat and the One You Replaced.

And welcome home.
"You did a great job over there, Mr. President. We're all proud of you."
"You, too, Mr. President. You, too."

Al Qaeda's Fantasy Ideology: Fifteen Years On

Thursday, August 1, 2002

An excerpt:
A personal recollection
My first encounter with this particular kind of fantasy occurred when I was in college in the late sixties. A friend of mine and I got into a heated argument. Although we were both opposed to the Vietnam War, we discovered that we differed considerably on what counted as permissible forms of anti-war protest. To me the point of such protest was simple — to turn people against the war. Hence anything that was counterproductive to this purpose was politically irresponsible and should be severely censured. My friend thought otherwise; in fact, he was planning to join what by all accounts was to be a massively disruptive demonstration in Washington, and which in fact became one.
My friend did not disagree with me as to the likely counterproductive effects of such a demonstration. Instead, he argued that this simply did not matter. His answer was that even if it was counterproductive, even if it turned people against war protesters, indeed even if it made them more likely to support the continuation of the war, he would still participate in the demonstration and he would do so for one simple reason — because it was, in his words, good for his soul.
What I saw as a political act was not, for my friend, any such thing. It was not aimed at altering the minds of other people or persuading them to act differently. Its whole point was what it did for him.
And what it did for him was to provide him with a fantasy — a fantasy, namely, of taking part in the revolutionary struggle of the oppressed against their oppressors. By participating in a violent anti-war demonstration, he was in no sense aiming at coercing conformity with his view — for that would still have been a political objective. Instead, he took his part in order to confirm his ideological fantasy of marching on the right side of history, of feeling himself among the elect few who stood with the angels of historical inevitability. Thus, when he lay down in front of hapless commuters on the bridges over the Potomac, he had no interest in changing the minds of these commuters, no concern over whether they became angry at the protesters or not. They were there merely as props, as so many supernumeraries in his private psychodrama. The protest for him was not politics, but theater; and the significance of his role lay not in the political ends his actions might achieve, but rather in their symbolic value as ritual. In short, he was acting out a fantasy.
It was not your garden-variety fantasy of life as a sexual athlete or a racecar driver, but in it, he nonetheless made himself out as a hero — a hero of the revolutionary struggle. The components of his fantasy — and that of many young intellectuals at that time — were compounded purely of ideological ingredients, smatterings of Marx and Mao, a little Fanon and perhaps a dash of Herbert Marcuse.
For want of a better term, call the phenomenon in question a fantasy ideology — by which I mean, political and ideological symbols and tropes used not for political purposes, but entirely for the benefit of furthering a specific personal or collective fantasy. It is, to be frank, something like “Dungeons and Dragons” carried out not with the trappings of medieval romances — old castles and maidens in distress — but entirely in terms of ideological symbols and emblems. The difference between them is that one is an innocent pastime while the other has proven to be one of the most terrible scourges to afflict the human race.
But before tackling this subject outright, let us approach it through a few observations about the normal role of fantasy in human conduct.".......

Read it all at Hoover.

The New American Apartheid: Our Anti-Racists are Racist, Just as Our Anti-Fascists are Fascists

Just as Our Feminists are Anti-Female: Our Progressives are Regressing.

Tucker Carlson featured three stories last night that, while he didn't connect them, were really just the same story.

* 1.) The Kooks Burrito Girls, run out of business in Portland for being the wrong race. Although women were empowered and the food was delicious and customers were happy and jobs were created and taxes were paid, the formerly-empowered women were hounded out of business by an racialist internet lynch mob.

You see, in Left-World, only Government-Approved and Inspected Genuine Grade A-Mexicans are allowed to sell Mexican food.

Say--you know who else wanted to restrict business to the Correct Race and tattoo their racial classifications onto peoples' arms?

The Horror!
* 2.) The super-creepy Princeton Admissions bean-counters, judging students on pure racial stereotypes, saying essentially about Asians that "They all look alike to me".

Daniel Greenfield: "We all know affirmative action is racist. It's racist in the most direct legal sense of the term. It privileges some and dispossess others based on skin color. But it's also internally racist. Colleges routinely break the law to, openly or covertly, practice affirmative action.

Of a Hispanic applicant, an admissions officer wrote, “Tough to see putting her ahead of others. No cultural flavor in app.” Of a black student, another said, “Very few African Americans with verbal scores like this.” At times, the documents show, admissions officers twist themselves into bizarre knots as they consider — and dance around — the issue of applicants’ race. “Were there a touch more cultural flavor I'd be more enthusiastic,” one officer wrote of a Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander.

Affirmative action means that it's not the student's skills that matter. It's how much they fit some white leftist's idea of a minority. And how much "cultural flavor" they have. Racial bias in admissions is a national crisis. Colleges are keeping down students who could make a contribution while focusing on the sorts of crybullies who will stage protests and burn down buildings.

Princeton’s admissions officers repeatedly wrote of Asian applicants as being difficult to differentiate, referring to them dismissively as having “very familiar profiles,” calling them “standard premeds,” or “difficult to pluck out.” The comments were noted by civil rights investigators at the Education Department as they probed allegations of racial bias in the school’s admissions system.

An investigator questioned an admissions officer after an Asian student was described eagerly by a counterpart as a “first-generation Chinese student whose own life has not been easy, trying to make the lives of others better through service. One of the best we’ll ever see from [high school].”
The second officer was less enthusiastic. “Perfectly able and appealing,” the officer wrote. “Very familiar profile.”

"Bright premed, but like many others," another.".......

Princeton's Unequal Protection racketeers fought like a hacking tobacco company to keep their dirty little secrets hidden from daylight.
"Hamilton took his stand on one of the stoops, and proceeded with great animation and eloquence to harangue the mob on the excessive impropriety of their conduct, and the disgrace it would bring on the cause of liberty; of which they avowed themselves to be the Champions."--Robert Troup, Hamilton's college roommate at Princeton [then King's College]

"A mob of over 300 people came after King’s College President Miles Cooper - a well-known loyalist - with the intention to lynch him. This speech gave enough time for President Cooper to escape."

Hamilton would later return to Princeton. With cannon. And it could happen again.

* 3.) The Lord of the Flies-Race Mob at Evergreen College: Students harass white professor for refusing to leave campus on anti-white ‘Day of Absence’

"These kids don't belong at a university. They need cult deprogramming first." Except the university is where they were programmed into this Neo-Segregation cult. And they exhibit the zeal of a Maoist Red Guard unit imposing the Cultural Revolution on the campus while the college president hides under his desk.

These New Apartheid student mobs want a No Whites-Day. When their thoughtful professor disagreed (a pro-Bernie guy himself!), they turned on him because he's white. Of course, so were the students. Mostly white kids taught to hate their own pigment and culture by idiot educators who sit atop that culture preaching White Privilege.

Hey kidz; the "logic" of your brainwashed position doesn't just demand that your Free Speech professor be fired; it also demands that you as a white student give up your slot at the university for someone with "better" pigment. Start packing.

All of these stories are just more of the same old Jim Crow mulatto/octoroon/quadroon racist One-Drop Rule. Segregationists  Lester Maddox and Bull Conner couldn't agree with you more, kidz.

The places of the races may be switched, but the principle remains intact:

"There is a preferred master race and an inferior lesser race who may oppressed with impunity and Government shall enforce our race-based system!"

And when the students graduate with a degree in Useless Rage and are living in their cars, the professors who taught them this racist garbage will be on vacation in Tuscany, spending their student loan money.

Because Privilege!, Dummy!

You better wake up from Woke. You're sleep-walking into the Same Old Lie.
"Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss"
