I'm So Proud of My President and Our Troops Today

"The Reverend Dr. Soleimani, Noted Recycler and Scratch Bowler Dies of Uber Mishap and Hellfire Missiles but Mostly Trump"

"When Israel sent troops into a terrorist nerve center in Ramallah to prevent further attacks on civilians--when it did, in essence, what the United States is doing in Afghanistan--President Bush said Israel's action was "not helpful." When dealing with Arafat, even the foes of terror become inconsistent and incoherent. The archetypal releaser of Arafat is a leader who has criticized him many times, has shown himself capable of the assertive use of deadly force in other situations, and, like Reagan, Bush, Begin, Sharon, Rabin, and Barak, has criticized others for letting terrorists go free. The typical, last-minute liberator is a reluctant and soon-to-be-regretful redeemer, who has often battled terror. Usually, he is utterly disquieted as he finds himself letting Arafat off, but he feels trapped by some force larger than himself. Something always seems to happen so that the knowledge that it is dangerous to let such men go unpunished is not translated into effective action. It is as though these leaders come under a spell.

This "spell" is part of a dynamic that operates when the evil being confronted is brazen and relentless..."--Norman Doidge, "Evil's Advantage Over Conscience: Why the West gives Yasser Arafat endless second chances."

And now the spell is broken.

This is a great day for civilization.

That war criminal killed and maimed tens of thousands of people--Americans, Iranians, Israelis, Iraqis, Saudis, Yemenis, Europeans, etc. He killed Arabs, Muslims, Jews, Christians and non-believers alike. Civilians, women, children, the wounded, unarmed students--anybody he pleased.

Until your President Trump:

"Soleimani made the death of innocent people his sick passion, contributing to terrorist plots as far away as New Delhi and London. Today we remember and honor the victims of Soleimani’s many atrocities and we take comfort in knowing that his reign of terror is over. Soleimani has been perpetrating acts of terror to destabilize the Middle East for the last 20 years.

What the United States did yesterday should have been done long ago. A lot of lives would have been saved. Just recently Soleimani led the brutal repression of protesters in Iran, where more than 1,000 innocent civilians were tortured and killed by their own government.

We took action last night to stop a war. We did not take action to start a war. I have deep respect for the Iranian people. They are a remarkable people with an incredible heritage and unlimited potential."
Barack Hussein was the Ayatollah's sleeper agent, Rouhani's banker and Soleimani's bodyguard.

But in fairness, he also droned American children.

Here's an interesting take from Ace's:

"We’re witnessing the death of the Iran regime and their death throes toward the US. I’ve been following Iran’s involvement in Iraq closely for over a year because I have a significant financial investment there. Iraq is on the cusp of enacting their monetary reforms, which will add value to their currency and allow their markets to open up
internationally. It will also provide the HCL law, which pays all Iraqi citizens an oil revenue stipend like Kuwaitis receive. The reforms have been hampered by the Iranian puppets in the Iraqi leadership and parliament, which has perpetuated the ongoing 30% unemployment rate while the corrupt politicians get rich. That’s is the backdrop of the situation, and these are the three most important points to know right now:
1) The vast majority of Iraqis support the US strikes against Iranian militias, who have killed over 500 Iraqi protestors and wounded or kidnapped thousands more. Iraqis have been continuously protesting since October to purge their government of the Iranian puppets who facilitate the theft of their oil revenue, so the militias are trying to suppress them. That’s also why Iraqi political leaders are lashing out at the US — not because of Iraqi sovereignty, but to defend Iranian interests.
The protests have so far resulted in new elections laws passing, a special election scheduled, and the resignation of the Iran-backed Prime Minister, Abdul Mahdi, who is in office temporarily until the special election. So when Mahdi criticizes Trump, know that the Iraqi people overwhelmingly oppose Mahdi’s statements.
2) The theft of Iraqi oil revenue is the only lifeline Iran has under the sanctions, which their religious class has admitted is bankrupting them. Iranian citizens in Iran are still in revolt and burning down banks to support the US efforts to suffocate the regime. When the regime is no longer able to pay their military, the regime will fall. It’s getting close.
3) The new election law passed by parliament will discontinue the appointment of Prime Minister candidates by the large Iran-backed political parties, and instead only accept candidates from regional districts (tribes, really), which means the candidates nominated will be anti-Iran and pro US. I predict the next PM will be Abdul-Ghani al-Asadi. All this adds up to REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN. And soon.

Meanwhile, every Democrat candidate is parroting Putin. Heh. Stooges gotta' stooge.

"We resent that remark!"

Smells Like Teen Spirit and Liberty, But Mostly Liberty

Aid and Comfort--UPDATE:
“War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.”–John Stuart Mill

This son of a bitch filled his own section in Arlington with American corpses. He had his own wing at Walter Reed, jam-packed with amputees, many double and triple. And you people are going to make excuses for him? What kind of monsters are YOU? NOT HIM–YOU. Even if you no longer give a f*ck about Americans anymore, he butchered Iranians, Iraqis, Israelis, Europeans, name it. Women, children, civilians, students, etc., etc., et f*cking cetera. Including the 2005 assassination of President Rafik Hariri, a Lebanese national treasure, to name but a few of the precious souls taken by this madman.

But you don’t care.

Sam Adams got it right: “If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”

I'm not talking about honest patriots who hate war. I mean pretend patriots who hate the President, hate this country, coddle our enemies but love war--as long as they're in charge of it. And can make a buck off of it. I don’t know who you gutless chicken-sh*t people are–slaves-in-waiting, maybe–but you’re damn sure not MY countrymen.

I don't know you.

After numerous Iranian provocations, President Trump showed restraint time after time--until Soleimani's minions killed and wounded Americans. Another interesting take here:

"Trump has changed the equation. For forty years we have known about and accepted Iranian perfidy that has killed and maimed thousands of Americans. They humiliated the US for 444 days holding our diplomats hostage. They are the world’s biggest state sponsor of terrorism. Yet, they have really paid very little in terms of blood and treasure when it comes to the consequences of their actions.
Trump was restrained as the Iranians shot down one of our drones, attacked shipping in the Straits of Hormuz, rocketed a huge Saudi refinery, attacking an Iraqi base killing an American contractor and wounding 3 servicemen, and finally storming the US Embassy in Baghdad. Unlike his predecessors, Trump acted to cut off the head of the snake. Enough was enough. When you reward something, you get more of it.
For you nervous Nellies out there afraid that Iran will really get mad at us, what can Iran do that they have already not done? They are never going to confront directly the US militarily. They know that the US can inflict devastating damage that could endanger the very existence of the regime. The mullahs hijacked the Iranian Revolution. Their sole objectives are retaining power and surviving. WWIII is not coming. There will be no major Iranian action except thru surrogates and Trump has put them on notice that this also will not be tolerated."
Iran has been at war with the US since 1979. Trump is the first President since then that has decided that we will treat them the same way. Disregard the Iranian bluster in much the same way we discounted the ravings of Saddam and Baghdad Bob. Don’t go wobbly Mr. President and ignore the advice of Lindsey Graham who now wants us to offer an olive branch, which will only be seen as a sign of weakness.
This President doesn’t fail to take 3 a.m. phone calls–he MAKES 3 a.m. phone calls.
Paying respects in the Soleimani Sector at Arlington
