"In Russia, the story goes, if you say, ''Take my wife - please,'' you come home and she is gone."--Ronald Reagan
"Take my show--please."
In this Anything Goes-era where Colbert has single-handedly revived the Homo Joke, you would think there might also be some room for conservative humor on TV. Tim Allen's "Last Man Standing" was hardly strident, but it did give voice to a point of view almost universally ignored in show business today.
But ABC is willing to forgo the profits from a top-rated comedy to Ethnically-Cleanse television of anything which is not down-the-line Leftist propaganda.
Two months ago, Tim Allen said this to Kimmel about the Hollywood BrownTux Left:
“You’ve gotta be real careful around here. You get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes. This is like ’30s Germany. I don’t know what happened. If you’re not part of the group, ‘you know what we believe is right,’ I go, ‘Well, I might have a problem with that.'”
And ABC just proved him right.

You're just a fantastic talent, Tim. Too bad you also have a brain and a few opinions of your own. Looks like that cost you your job.
"All humor is now Property of zee Party!" |
And there's the problem: "politics is only secondary".
Politics is never secondary to the modern family of censors and social justice totalitarians. The Party is their home, Government is their god and everything, including jokes, are subservient to the Pure Goal.
Take my wife--please. So she can kick your State-Approved Humor- asses.
