President Trump said his heart was to focus on the positive and success. But he also said where there was Constitutional Corruption and Criminality, his appointees would have to pursue it.
Welker framed it as going after political enemies–not going after political enemies who had committed serious crimes. It was assumed by her that these were just innocent people whose only crime was opposing PDT.

“Please pray for this place & me. I am really struggling with being here [almost a year behind bars]. It isn’t just that every day I am here is a day I should be home, or the failure of the justice system, or Christmas coming.
It’s also the commissary that is continually out of stock, & the refusal to sell bottled water to us anymore, leaving us with water that gives us rashes & smells like the YMCA pool to drink.
It is the cold showers because something is wrong with the water heater, the broken BUNN hot water heater, which is the only thing we have to “cook” with since they won’t give us microwaves or let us buy irons. I can’t even cook oats for breakfast anymore.This is on top of the biological male creeps, the lack of worship because I refuse to worship with tr*nsv*stites, the tiny beds with thin mattresses, the underwear that bleeds dye continually, the degradation of having to use toilet paper at chow because they can’t even provide napkins, along with the lack of decent food in decent portions. If you only knew how lacking the food is here.
My mail is improperly copied, so often I can’t read it part of the time, assuming I even get it because I often don’t. On top of living in fear of going to the SHU [solitary confinement] daily for not doing anything SHU worthy, or the fear of an officer coming in my room & destroying the few belongings I have because of something someone in another cell did.
The continual psychological beatings, getting screamed at for things like forgetting to take my winter cap off when entering the chow hall, or heaven forbid one of us puts in on less than five feet from the door. “Put it on outside!!!” Meanwhile it’s 20 degrees outside, before the mountaintop wind chill where wind blasts icy snow across your face, & if you cover your face with a scarf there is a bellowing of an angry officer “UNCOVER YOUR FACE!”
And then when I want to visit with my family for a few minutes they are either tortured by the long drive, with no vending machines or even a pitcher of water at the [visitors] table.
Or a video visit computer that has a high probability of glitching up so badly that there is no visit – just a 25 minute struggle of trying to hear or get a glimpse of my children for a few seconds before it glitches again.
They literally can’t properly take care of us here. And now I have to look forward to more rejected mail (only white envelopes are accepted – never mind that we never get the envelopes anyhow). Soon they won’t let us have books sent in, & they are cutting our phone minutes down in Jan by almost half, leaving me with even less contact with my family. Believe it or not, I could keep going.
I can’t do this anymore. I should not be here. My judge [Royce Lamberth] should have resentenced me & sent me home months ago [after the ridiculous 1512 charge was thrown out by the Supreme Court in June 2024]. I don’t understand why I am stuck in here & am not out on bail pending a resentencing. None of this makes any sense to me anymore. So pray not just for me, but for the hundreds of women enduring hell here at this prison. My attitude is really not good lately & I am struggling.”

Lord God, You are merciful to the captive, Lord. You make chains fall from the prisoner, Lord. Remember your child Rachel Powell and all her fellow political prisoners, Father and give them Hope and fill them with Your Peace. Father God, deliver them as only You can, in Jesus' Name we pray, Amen.
