“For four years, rank and file of the Federal Bureau of Investigation played the role of courageous heroes fighting the “domestic terror” threat posed by Americans who protested at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Invasive investigations typically involved FBI agents interrogating the family members, co-workers, and even childhood friends of their J6 targets. FBI investigators scoured bank records, Amazon accounts, credit card statements, travel receipts, social media posts including direct messages and other private records in an attempt to build “terrorism” cases.
Following those investigations, FBI agents clad in military-style gear carrying powerful weapons and using battering rams executed hundreds of surprise raids across the country, even those accused of nonviolent offenses. And it wasn’t just the target and his family who were traumatized by the excessive show of force; quiet neighborhoods were abruptly awakened by an FBI agent shouting into a bullhorn during predawn hours to call out the name of the alleged terrorist in their midst as tanks blocked off nearby roads.
Defendants were then hauled to local jails to face more questioning by FBI agents, often without the presence of an attorney, who then proceeded to seize electronic devices, clothing, photographs, and other items that represented “evidence” of their crime. (The FBI even took a Lego set of the U.S. Capitol found in the home of a middle school history teacher.)
For those J6ers spared a violent arrest, FBI agents nonetheless visited their home and place of work demanding answers related to their participation in the protest before arresting them. Agents representing the “FBI Joint Counterterrorism Task Force” proudly signed more than 1,500 criminal complaints between January 2021 and January 2025—keeping up a steady pace of arrests right until Inauguration Day.
They testified—publicly—as government witnesses during more than 150 jury trials, helping the Department of Justice win a perfect conviction rate before D.C. juries.
The largest criminal investigation in the DOJ history gave FBI agents and employees lots of swagger. After all, former FBI director Christopher Wray often bragged how each of the FBI’s 56 field offices was involved in the so-called “Capitol Siege” probe. Those same field offices posted a nonstop stream of press releases boasting about their latest J6 capture and patting themselves on the back for rounding up fellow Americans who supported President Trump.
“Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity,” You Say, FBI?
But the swagger suddenly is gone. Trump’s election not only ended the J6 prosecution but turned the tables in a way the FBI never saw coming. Wray resigned rather than wait to be fired by President Trump; several top FBI officials recently cleaned out their desks before they too were relieved of duty by Trump DOJ chiefs.And thousands of FBI employees who at one time wore their J6 work as a badge of honor have gone into hiding of sorts, leaving ultimate sissy men Norm Eisen and Mark Zaid to do their tough talking for them in court.” …….

When the military seized power and announced the imposition of a so-called “interim administration,” video footage showed Hasina fleeing to India aboard a helicopter. But now, leaked documents reviewed by The Grayzone confirm the State Department was informed of efforts by the International Republican Institute (IRI) to advance an explicitly stated mission to “destabilize Bangladesh’s politics.” The documents are marked as “confidential and/or privileged.”IRI is a Republican Party-run subsidiary of the National Endowment for Democracy, which has fueled an array of regime change operations across the globe since it was conceived in the office of CIA Director William Casey over forty years ago.
The newly-uncovered files reveal how IRI spent millions in the lead-up to Hasina’s overthrow covertly coaching opposition parties and establishing a regime change network concentrated among the country’s urban youth. Among the GOP-run Institute’s front line foot soldiers were rappers, ethnic minority leaders, LGBT activists hosting “transgender dance performances” in the presence of US embassy officials – all groomed to facilitate what the US intelligence cutout called a “power shift” in Bangladesh.
I’m not sure how Republicans (the beneficiary of the USAID funding that toppled Hasina is led by Republicans) decided that funding LGBT activists and transgender dance performances, but there it is [Lindsey!].Irony of irony, Democratic Senator Chris Murphey, who is screaming the loudest to defend USAID, was the Congressional contact who oversaw the operation. I guess regime change is fun, and he wants to keep his fingers in the pie.
It’s all one big happy family, isn’t it? Democrats get to choose who to depose in one country, Republicans in another.
More than 250 people were killed in the violence that “destabilizing Bangladesh’s politics” brought about, but at least a Clinton Global Initiative guy got into power, so we’ve got that going for us.
I love the smell of regime change in the morning.

There are many ‘revelations’ certain to surface, including how the USAID priorities included the control of information on the internet through their partnerships in the private sector. The larger objective was always information control and manipulating political outcomes both domestically and abroad. That is the impetus for the USAID spending.
The ‘humanitarian’ angle was always a cover, a ruse, tradecraft to hide how taxpayer money was gained and being distributed. That’s why none of their humanitarian endeavors ever solved anything.
Food, clean water, medicine and global aid was the visible claim by the USAID administrators; however, as you see from the surfacing receipts, that was always just a cover for their activity in political influence operations.
Do not think the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations was blind to this USAID operation, they were not. The Senate held oversight, and they knew exactly what was going on, who was doing the orchestration of the agenda, and what the priorities of the USAID operation was all about.
Senator Marco Rubio sat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Secretary of State Marco Rubio advanced with a confirmation vote of 99-0. Secretary Rubio now controls USAID.
To understand the issues as they are now surfacing it is very important to retain clear context.
USAID was a sub-silo, a child of the parent organization, the CIA. The CIA controlled the Big Picture, and USAID was the institution to carry out the objective.
When you see a controversial issue within the USAID operation reaching sunlight, always remember it is the CIA behind it. When USAID targeted a foreign government for removal, it was the CIA behind it. When USAID engaged with domestic and foreign media to control mis-dis-malinformation, it is the CIA behind it. The CIA is defining the information.
When USAID pressured various global news agencies and organized advertiser boycotts against information sources averse to the interests of USAID, it is the CIA behind it. When USAID funds the Clinton Foundation, or McCain Institute, or any of the cause celebre’ NGOs you now see in the headlines, it is factually the CIA behind them. When USAID funds media for influence control, it is the CIA behind it.
This is also the context for the envelopes at the George H.W. Bush funeral. An argument can be made that GHW Bush as CIA Director was the originator and architect of the CIA/USAID business model we are now discussing. Bush knew the politicians would have to benefit from the business, in order to advance the operation.
When Chuck Schumer says, “the Intelligence Community has “six ways from Sunday to get you,” he is referencing this matrix of Intelligence Community control, that also includes the use of USAID to fund the systems that target the opposition as defined by the CIA.
Yes, in many ways real and yet to be revealed, all roads lead to Langley.
When you see media outlets, or NGOs on the left and right side of the information system being given funds (directly or indirectly) though the USAID funding silo, keep in mind this it is essentially the CIA behind it.
The Central Intelligence Agency is the only silo within Washington DC, specifically empowered to operate in complete darkness. There is zero CIA oversight, and the mission mandate as authorized by congress permits the CIA to remain entirely closed from any oversight or scrutiny. The CIA is also authorized to lie about anything as part of their “national security” mission.
It is through that larger IC prism that all information about USAID operations should be evaluated.
