"Federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt demanded that Phillips and Englebrecht reveal the names of everyone who was in a hotel room when the original data files were presented to True the Vote. Englebrecht and Phillips stated they did not ever possess the data file, do not have it and refused to name all the participants who may have seen it. Today Judge Hoyt threw them in jail until Englebrecht and Phillips give up the names.
(Post Millennial) – On Monday, US Marshalls took into custody Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips of True the Vote, for refusing to identify a confidential informant.
Federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt delivered the order, holding the two in contempt of court for refusing to identify the informant, according to independent journalist Ivory Hecker.
Hoyt ordered that Engelbrcht and Phillips be held in custody for at least a day, until they divulge that information. (read more)".......

Superior Court of Los Angeles County Judge Victoria Wilson ruled that Yu be released on a $500,000 bond and remain under house arrest until his next hearing, which is set for Nov. 17. Yu was ordered to remain in Los Angeles County and wear an ankle monitor. [ the spy walks free]

Today, she released another recorded statement from her jail cell explaining how she was moved out of solitary confinement, an 8 X 10 cinder-block jail cell without lighting.
The upbeat warrior thanked her supporters for sending money to the commissary, which allowed her to purchase books. She has asked for everyone’s prayers as her lawyers have filed an appeal and are waiting to hear if it has been accepted. In the meantime, a great patriot has created a website to keep their followers updated and to sell merchandise with Gregg and Catherine’s images. "I found what caused Engelbrecht and Phillips to warn the FBI that Konnech is a “major national security risk.”
What was even more disturbing was that, according to Engelbrecht and Phillips, the FBI’s Washington D.C. office attempted to cover up this national security issue rather than investigate why Chinese nationals are programming U.S. election software.
“The problem is they know about this and chose to do nothing,” Phillips said.
“They chose to investigate it, and in the end, they chose to blame us, but this is China. These are Chinese operatives in the United States; these are Chinese citizens who are programming this.”
Consider that Eugene Yu registered numerous Chinese websites to his Konnech email addresses, including “hongzhengtech.cn.”
This website belongs to Jinhua Hongzheng Technology, an election software company that is the premier voting technology provider for China’s National People’s Congress.
With more than 200 employees, Hongzheng Technology is partnered with Lenovo, Huawei, China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile and operates in more than 20 provinces across China.
While doing that research, another independent journalist discovered an archived version of Eugene Yu’s Chinese company’s website, "yu-lian.cn”, where Yu praised the vision of the former Chinese President, who he called “Comrade Jiang Zemin.”
On that same website, Yu boasted about his success with “Election Management Solutions Detroit” and “U.S. Overseas Voters,” as he wrote in Chinese:
“In line with the principle of "political tasks first and economic benefits of enterprises second," our company has perfected and formed the whole set of election management theory and software tools in line with China's national conditions.”
“We hope to ride on the spring breeze of political reform and provide you with election consulting services and election campaign management in line with China's national conditions based on our democratic election campaigns with Chinese characteristics.”
I began investigating Eugene Yu on August 13, 2022.
Catherine Engelbrecht of TrueTheVote and Gregg Phillips of OPSEC brought together about two hundred “researchers, independent journalists, and big thinkers” to share the story of their 15-month involvement with what was characterized to them as a “counter-intelligence operation” with the Federal Bureau of Investigation into Konnech.
Unlike so many corporate journalists, who unfortunately have become stenographers for the U.S. government and corporations that pay them, I looked into Konnech.
The day before Yu’s arrest, the New York Times’ Stuart Thompson published an article entitled, “How a Tiny Elections Company Became a Conspiracy Theory Target.”
Thompson, who covers “misinformation and disinformation,” wrote about how “far-right election deniers” concocted an elaborate “conspiracy theory” that Konnech “had secret ties to the Chinese Communist Party and had given the Chinese government backdoor access to personal data.”
Near the end of the article, he dedicated a few sentences to Eugene Yu’s Chinese company, “Jinhua Yulian Network Technology, a subsidiary out of China, where programmers developed and tested software.”
“Konnech closed the subsidiary in 2021 and no longer has employees in China,” he concluded.
Contrary to the New York Times reporter’s lack of curiosity, I found it extremely concerning that Eugene Yu, also known as Jianwei Yu (于建伟), established a Chinese R&D subsidiary in Zhejiang, China, on November 29, 2005.
So I spent the last six weeks meticulously documenting everything that I could find about Jinhua Yulian Network Technology (金华宇联网络科技有限公司) in a series of articles.".......

Like Roseanne Boyland, beaten to death with police batons by sadistic Nazi Capitol Police goons, all they want are Honest Elections. That's all.
But that's just too much to ask of this demonic Dictatorship.
"Since January 2021, True the Vote has worked to uncover the role Konnech, a Michigan-based election management software company with what appears to be deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party, and has potentially played in the subversion of America’s elections.
The True the Vote team was made aware that the personal information of nearly two million American election workers was stored on a server in China, in violation of US law, as well as Konnech’s contracts between many states and counties. This information included poll worker names, addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers and bank account numbers. Realizing the severe national security implications of the data breach, Gregg Phillips and True the Vote immediately turned over the findings to the FBI.
For 15 months Catherine and Gregg worked with FBI field agents in Texas on a counter-intelligence operation to end Konnech’s involvement in America’s elections. The FBI already had Konnech “on the radar” due to questionable activities that extended far beyond US elections.
In April 2022, everything changed.
Catherine received a call from one of the Texas-based FBI agents, who informed her that the FBI’s Washington D.C. office was now involved in the investigation. The Texas agent informed them that it was possible that they were going to be the targets of the FBI. He suggested that their best option was to go public with what they had learned.
In August 2022, Catherine and Gregg convened a meeting called “The Pit.” At the event they told their story for the first time in public to an audience that included citizen researchers, journalists, and law enforcement personnel.
In September 2022, Konnech sued True the Vote for defamation, racism, and xenophobia for revealing their findings publicly. The court issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) to Catherine and Gregg that required them, among other things, to provide to Konnech the names of all the individuals who were involved in the discovery of the poll worker data in China.
To put this in context, here is a quote from this recent article in AND Magazine by former CIA operations officer, Sam Faddis:
“Let’s imagine that a drug dealer facing criminal charges filed a lawsuit in civil court to make the cops provide the name of a source inside his organization. Would anyone think for a moment that would be a reasonable request? Would anyone have any doubt as to the fate of the informant if he was identified?
That’s how ludicrous this is and how obscene.”
On October 4, 2022, the company’s CEO, Eugene Yu, was indicted in California on charges including fraud, embezzlement, and data breach resulting in the theft of the personal information of election workers in LA County. The arrest was announced by LA District Attorney, George Gascon.
The arrest was the result of an indictment by a grand jury convened in Los Angeles, which is the nation’s largest voting bloc.
LA County is just the first of many counties that True the Vote is working to support. There are far more layers of subversion still to be exposed, with this company …. and potentially many others.
October 7, 2022, Catherine and Gregg’s attorneys made an initial appearance in federal court in Houston to answer the civil lawsuit filed by Konnech. It was at this hearing that the judge issued a highly unusual order…that Catherine and Gregg (through their attorneys) reveal the name of the individual who originally presented them with the poll worker data on the server in China. Their attorney reluctantly complied and revealed the name of this individual.
October 27, 2022, Catherine and Gregg appeared in federal court in Houston prepared to demonstrate that there was a criminal matter in LA County regarding Eugene Yu and Konnech. The judge refused to consider this evidence and directed Catherine and Gregg to reveal publicly the name of the other individual in the hotel room where Gregg viewed the poll worker data in January 2021. Catherine and Gregg offered to cooperate with the court and Konnech’s lawyers by providing the name of this individual under seal. The judge refused this offer. At the end of a long day of testimony by Catherine and Gregg, the judge found them in contempt of court. They were provided an opportunity to “cure” the contempt on Monday, October 31 at 9:00 AM by revealing the name of the second individual in the hotel room. If they did not “cure” it, they would be immediately remanded into custody by the US Marshals.
October 31, 2022, Catherine and Gregg refused to name the individual who was in the hotel room in January 2021 because he was not involved in the sourcing of the poll worker data. Catherine and Gregg strongly believe that this individual’s life would be in danger should his name be revealed publicly. They were immediately remanded to the custody of the US Marshal’s Service.
In a statement last night, Catherine Engelbrecht said, “Trust, honesty, and respect will always be our highest values, regarding both our work and our lives. As a result, we will be held in jail until we agree to give up the name of a person we believe was not covered under the terms of the judge’s TRO. We ask that you keep us in your prayers. Thank you to those who continue supporting and believing in us and our mission to make elections safe for all parties and for all people.”
I spoke to Catherine today and she wanted me to pass this on to all of you. She met a woman in prison who said, “One thing you need to understand is that, in this place, your life is not your own.”
Catherine was struck by this because it drives home that Election Day is coming very soon and right now ‘your life is your own and you have choices.’ Choose to vote. Choose to be heard. If you give that right away, slowly but surely your life will not be your own, just like the woman told her in prison.
“We all have such lives of convenience, and you think it could never happen, like it could never get this bad. I’ll tell you this has been a real wake-up call– to our justice system and to our federal government. Be heard…be heard. The only way we can do that in a Constitutional Republic is to vote.“
“Vote Serve Pray. It’s like the story of the frog in the pot that is slowly boiling. We are all so comfortable in our daily lives that we do not notice as our freedoms are being taken.”
We are extremely grateful for the prayers and support of so many people. This is a critical moment in history and we have no intention of stopping now.

That sounds like a set-up.
Like True the Vote was baited, Konnech was briefed by the Feds, the lawsuit planned and the crooked judge selected. Then True the Vote goes public, walking into that trap. Reichstag much?
There is also a reason the Feds handed the slap-on-the-wrist prosecution off to the Commie Gaston in L.A.., presumably to keep it low profile during the Mid Term sElections.
Judge Hoyt: “You know what? That may be an obstruction of justice, what they’ve done. We might find that out. On the verge of this proceeding, of this hearing, suddenly the plaintiff gets arrested so he can’t show up in court.”
That’s so outrageous, a “judge” blathering on about obstruction. And real judges NEVER incarcerate in a non-criminal civil defamation matter.
This fat drunken pig should retire in shame.

makes it clear that Judge Hoyt is biased against True the Vote. He questions Englebrecht and Phillips’ integrity and accuses them of stirring up doubts about elections, etc, and even says they might have committed obstruction of justice by sharing evidence that led to Yu’s arrest, thus stopping him from testifying in the civil suit.
An interesting detail is that the identity of the source HAS been given to the plaintiff in writing, in court, by defendant’s lawyer, and has also been provided under seal. Hoyt has jailed the defendants because they will not state the source’s name aloud in court, presumably under oath. Hoyt is clearly persecuting the defendants bcause he detests their efforts to stop election fraud, which he likely regards as racist. Hoyt should be removed from the case immediately.".......
