Done Patrol

The Only Borders Being Enforced Are On the Patrol

"I saw a large group of Syrians out there--we've got to get these voter registration forms to them before the DMV closes!"
Mark Krikorian:

...Brandon Judd, head of the Border Patrol agents’ union, decried the “catch and release” policy imposed by the White House. ...He estimated that some 80 percent of the illegal aliens that are apprehended are released into the United States. ...

"If you are an unaccompanied minor we will not only release you, but will escort you to your final destination."

"If you are a family unit, we will release you."

"If you claim credible fear [of persecution], we will release you."

"If you are a single male and we do not physically see you cross the border and you claim that you have been in this country since 2014, we will release you." ......................

Obama has illegally ordered the Border Patrol to stop enforcing the law. In effect, the Abolition of the Border Patrol. The Done Patrol.

America has the most generous and humane immigration laws in the world; it is not too much to ask that they be enforced.

You've heard of Sanctuary Cities:
Gayla Baer-Taylor, a lifelong Democrat, explained why she's supporting Trump in the 2016 election. She said that for her, the turning point was the murder of Kate Steinle - who was shot in San Francisco by an illegal immigrant - and the Obama administration's refusal to acknowledge her death.
Delaware could become the nation’s first “sanctuary state” --if you don't count California which is already there, in all but name.

If liberal jurisdictions can ignore immigration and drug laws they don't like, then under the Equal Protection Clause, conservative jurisdictions can do the same. If that's how the game is played, we want sanctuary cities from EPA regulations and sanctuary states for traditional marriage.

Obama has, in Maximum Leader-style, unilaterally declared the whole country a Sanctuary Nation.

But have you ever asked "Sanctuary from who?"  From law enforcement?

Police don't write laws. Congress does. And presidents sign them. Congresses and presidents YOU elected; the sanctuary is from the voters who elected those lawmakers and presidents.

The sanctuary claimed by liberals and extemists is from you and me, and our right to govern ourselves. They can pick and chose the laws they accept, but say we must obey all their favored laws to a tee.

"Sanctuary" is just another way to say "Above the Law".

In completely unrelated news, Donald Trump has moved into the lead in national polls. Coincidence?
