Death Panel Days

BuzzardCare

"You can't be for big government, big taxes, and big bureaucracy and still be for the little guy."
Stephen Green:

BUT DEATH PANELS ARE A MYTH: Terminally ill mom denied treatment coverage — but gets suicide drug approved.

Fox: "Then her doctors suggested that switching to another chemotherapy drug might buy her time. Her medical insurance company refused to pay. She says she asked if the company covered the cost of drugs to put her to death. She was told the answer is yes — with a co-payment of $1.20."

"Man is not free unless government is limited."
Meanwhile, the preznit says all that CoerciveCare needs is trillions of borrowed Chinese dollars.

The architect of the scheme, Hans Gruber, goes even farther, saying the plan is working perfectly as designed, and you should get your lying eyes checked by a doctor, even though you'll have to pay for it out of pocket.

Gruber, who says voters are so stupid they can be lied to with impunity, does recommend one change, however:

Higher fines and penalties for those who fail to bow down before the Almighty God of Government.

UPDATE: Mary Katherine Ham: "This year, my premium is going up 96 percent. Ninety-six percent. My monthly payment, which was the amount of a decent car payment, is now the size of a moderate mortgage. The president refers to these for thousands of citizens as “a few bugs” when to us it feels like a flameout. For this astronomical payment, I get a plan with an astronomical deductible that my healthy family of three will likely never hit except in the most catastrophic of circumstances.

...When President Obama sold Obamacare to the American people, he promised three things. 1) That we could keep our plans if we liked them. 2) That the new system would offer competition between great options through an Obamacare marketplace, and 3) That our premiums would go down.
Not “go up slower” or “go up but eventually go down,” but go down— $2,500 was the figure.
The letter I got last week is a betrayal of every one of those promises. I did not get to keep the plan I liked. The new system does not offer competition between great options through an Obamacare marketplace. And my premiums have gone up more than 150 percent in two years.".......

This is a government that has declared war on its own citizens.
