Thanks Again, Vietnam Vets

"On this Vietnam War Veterans Day, we celebrate the brave Vietnam Veterans and all of America’s Veterans. Thank you for your service to our great Nation!"--President Trump

"...And so many of the blessings and advantages we have, so many of the reasons why our civilization, our culture, has flourished aren't understood; they're not appreciated. And if you don't have any appreciation of what people went through to get, to achieve, to build what you are benefiting from, then these things don't mean very much to you. You just think, well, that's the way it is. That's our birthright. That just happened. [But] it didn't just happen. And at what price? What grief? What disappointment? What suffering went on? I mean this. I think that to be ignorant or indifferent to history isn't just to be uneducated or stupid. It's to be rude, ungrateful. And ingratitude is an ugly failing in human beings."--David McCullough

"When the Left was victorious in it's fight against America's involvement in Vietnam, the United states withdrew and left the Vietnamese without our protection. The Communists proceeded to slaughter two and a half million poor peasants in Indo-China and there was not a single protest from the Left. And I realized the Left was never an anti-war movement, it was an anti-American movement and it has remained so to this day. That's what motivates it. It hates America."--David Horowitz

"Vietnam was, in truth, a noble cause. Those who died in that cause fought as well and as bravely as any Americans have ever fought in any war."--President Reagan

"On the eve of Phnom Penh's fall, President Ford held a conference begging Congress to appropriate funds to South Vietnam and Cambodia, but many Senators walked out from the meeting. After the Communist take-overs, Senator William Fulbright stated, "I'm no more depressed than I would be about Arkansas losing a football game to Texas."" --Paul Bois

I don't fault those who did not want to fight a war Democrats had already decided to lose. LBJ's policy of "Don't Win, But Don't Lose" seemed more about his political re-election needs than anything else. After a Communist killed JFK, too many Democrats soon became anti-war and even pro-Communist, just as they became pro-Palestinian after a PLO assassin killed Bobby.

Those who answered the call are all the more our very own.

Deranged Democrat lawmakers removed their POW/MIA flags today,
to fly Transgender flags instead. Their scheme: to make the US military
into the world's largest provider of "free" sex-change operations.
