Sneakin' Through the Alley With FISA

Trying To Get Away Dirty
(via Freaking News.com)

Nanny Palsi is trying to sneak FISA renewal through as a line in the budget again so it cannot be vetoed and to avoid the accountability by individual congressmen.

Oh, HELL no. There has been no accountability for those who tried to rig an election and overthrow the government using the FISA process. FISC Chief Judge Boasberg just hired a Beach Friend of the Court. Chris Wray thinks a little pep talk from Human Resources will fix it.

First thing I want to know is how many more political spying warrants were issued? I’m sure this wasn’t the first time these rat bastards pulled this stunt. Who else in Trump World was FISAed? Gen. Flynn?
How 'bout in 2012? Was Mitt Romney or his team surveilled? Something sure made him lay down. Are political warrants 10% of all warrants or are they 90%? Cute little press releases and this bury-it-in-the-budget flimflam subterfuge won’t cut it anymore.
No Indictments, No FISA. And maybe not even then. No more sneaking through the alley with Sally Yates.

You people have absolutely, positively  proven you cannot be trusted with that power.

Intelligence is Foreign--UPDATE: Insty: “I’ll believe there’s a climate crisis when the people who keep telling me there’s a climate crisis start acting like there’s a climate crisis.”

Similarly, I’ll believe FISA is vitally important when they start acting like it. Because if it were truly important, those who abused it would be harshly prosecuted. To date, we’ve had exactly one Deep State conviction; James Wolfe, whose overdue book fine was more cover-up for Dirty Intel Committee Senators than it was punishment. And even if we did, that wouldn't touch the massive meta-data problem with the Bill of Rights.

We have prosecutions and Police Review Boards for bad policemen. We have Courts Martials and the Military Code of Justice for out of control soldiers, But for Deep State seditionists, we’ve got book deals, Go-Fund Me pages and tv gigs.
It must not be important. Not important at all.
