So, he gets "fired" for proposing that we kill Americans. Then he gets sent somewhere where false flags killing civilians is a key part of the job
Sounds like he got a promotion to me.
Operation Mandalay Bay proposed killing a bunch of Americans and blaming it on guns.

BTW, naturally, JFK came out of the CIA's "Northwoods" briefing disgusted. A plan to kill Americans, blame it on Cuba and invade. To stop Tyranny by practicing tyranny. To wreck democracy to save democracy. Destroy the village to save the village. The 1960's-version of Operation Orange Man Bad:
