Walk Away: Let Due Process Stay

"No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any other way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgement of his equals or by the law of the land."--Magna Carta, June 15, 1215

"The presumption of innocence is not a radical or controversial concept. In fact, in America, it is set in stone."--Alana Mastrangelo

"The vilification tactic is a form of psychological terrorismFurthermore, because the fury displayed by those leveling the charges is so relentless and uncompromising, it carries its own threat. ...This tactic relies on the human herding instinct. People naturally shy away from anyone so vilified, whether the charges are credible or not, simply out of fear of being smeared with the same brush. They don’t want to be ostracized by the group. Such excommunication has real consequences on reputations, jobs, relationships, even survival. The real goal is to threaten the rest of us into silence."--James Simpson

Democrats: "The FBI says Kavanaugh either ran moonshine, ran an escort service or ran track: but we're not allowed to tell you which one."

"However imperfect due process, it has a protective faculty which cannot be removed without destroying it. It is the natural enemy and the unyielding foe of tyranny, whether popular or otherwise. As long as due process subsists, courts will put in despotism's path a resistance, more or less generous, but which always serves to contain it. ...There is in due process something lofty and unambiguous which forces judges to act respectably and follow a just and orderly course."--Benjamin Constant, 'Principles of Politics Applicable to All Governments', 1815

Powerline:  "Michael Ramirez is America’s foremost editorial cartoonist. More important, he is a warrior in the fight for freedom. On top of that, he is amazingly prolific. Some of Michael’s most recent cartoons deal with the Democrats’ disgraceful smearing of Judge Kavanaugh. Click to enlarge:

                                                                     .......
The American Civil Liberties Union has decided to launch a million-dollar Smear Campaign against Judge Kavanaugh. I'm old enough to remember when the presumption of innocence was a civil liberty.

Of course, that was two weeks ago.

The ACLU, who can find Due Process claims for underage illegal alien group marriage by handicapped terrorists with bi-lingual comfort animals, can't find Due Process for the Judge's presumption of innocence.

But Americans aren't going to give up a pillar of our society for these jackleg grifters on a Constitutional Crime Spree. The real crime wasn't committed 36 years ago. It's being committed today, right in front of our eyes in real time.

And we welcome all the former Democrats who are fleeing their former party.

In 1948, Whittaker Chambers told the House Un-American Activities Committee this:

"I know that I am leaving the winning side for the losing side, but it is better to die on the losing side than to live under Communism."

But in reality, he was #Winning--and so are you.

#WalkAway. Just #WalkAway.
"Hail, Bret! We like the cut of thy jib! An ale, sir?"
