I much prefer President Trump's method called  "fighting back" to the Expurts' Method: Let China buy our politicians and gut Main Street America while piously mouthing the Holy "Free Trade" for Multi-Nationals- Catechism on the way to the bank.

Bloomberg News: 

China has offered to go on a six-year buying spree to ramp up imports from the U.S., in a move that would reconfigure the relationship between the world’s two largest economies, according to officials familiar with the negotiations.

By increasing goods imports from the U.S. by a combined value of more than $1 trillion over that period, China would seek to reduce its trade surplus — which last year stood at $323 billion — to zero by 2024, one of the people said. 

... U.S. negotiators...asked the Chinese to do even better..."

He was right. Again. They were wrong. Again. Never forget it.

Two Years On--UPDATE: 

I put this president's achievements on par with President Reagan's, 
and in this respect, perhaps ahead;

Ronald Reagan faced a skeptical Republican Establishment, a hostile press, liberal Democrats, the Soviet Empire and the occasional treason by Ted Kennedy.

Donald Trump has been able to achieve all of his successes with a fully-weaponized 
Deep State Coup against him to include the Mueller Fraud, 
many Republican Uni-Party back-stabbers, a fully-Socialist Democrat Party bent on deconstructing America, a Permanent Government #Resistance and 
an unhinged media that is a pure propaganda wing of the DNC. 
Not to mention our foreign enemies and competitors.

Thus making his many accomplishments all the more stunning.
