There is No Wall Because Mitch McConnell Doesn't Want a Wall

While Mitt Romney Fails the Character Test With Flying Colors

The recent op-ed by Mittens was ostensibly about President Trump's character--but it was really about Mitt Romney's. Like so many things in Sewer City, the thing is not about what the thing is about.
Mitt n' Mitch, Mitch n' Mittens
Treehouse:

"Senate Leader Mitch McConnell has one major career alliance that has been unbroken and unchanged for well over two decades.  That alliance is with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and specifically with CoC President Tom Donohue.  [SEE HERE and SEE HERE].
Mitch McConnell is stealthily working against the efforts of President Donald Trump.  The effort is to support his primary Wall Street financial benefactor, Donohue. However, Mitch McConnell cannot directly be connected to underhanded efforts against President Trump because it would lead to: (A) questions about a confrontation; and (B) public exposure. [ex. think about how McConnell is blocking President Trump from recess appointments]

Mitch McConnell is up for election in 2020; in the exact same cycle as the reelection of President Trump.  If it became more obvious what McConnell is doing, there’s a strong, heck, guaranteed, likelihood Trump would be empowered to turn against McConnell.  Therefore Mitch McConnell has to be very careful about the visibility of how he undermines the President. Everything must have built in plausible deniability. ...
McConnell needed to test Romney’s commitment to the Decepticon club.  Romney passed the test.  Romney was rewarded with placement on the Senate Foreign Relations committee.  Those Senators who sit on this committee get the most financial benefit from foreign lobbying.".......

Bashing the president on command was Willard Romney's initiation fee, the price of admittance into the Mitch-y Mouse Club. That's why Romney walked it back the next day; what was said didn't matter so much as the fact that Mitt snapped to attention when ordered to do so by his new owners.

"I may be a clown named Willard, too--but at least I have principles!"
Mitch doesn't want a Wall or there would already be a Wall. He has a long history of back-stabbing true conservative policies, senators, candidates and movements like the Tea Party. This entire Three-Card Monte Budget Shuffle was cooked up by Ryan and McConnell to make sure we never control our borders.

The Constitution says the House and the Senate shall present a bill to the president. Mitch says the House and the president shall present a bill to him. Games, always games.

The Chamber of Commerce globalists want to extract every nickel they can and regard America as just another bus stop.

To be sure, Chuck and Nancy are also on the corporate payroll. But they also want to institute Global Socialism. Their plan is to dissolve America by moving a billion permanent welfare recipients here and ruling forever through divide-and-conquer tribalism and payoffs. They'll figure out later how to stop the Islamic Supremacists from defenestrating the gays and molesting women at New Years celebrations. If Europe is any example, they'll solve it by outlawing the discussion.

Donald Trump stands athwart their evil $chemes yelling "MAGA!".

That's why they all hate the man.

And that's why we love him.

Tweedle
More: Tucker:  "Our leaders don’t care. We are ruled by mercenaries who feel no long-term obligation to the people they rule. They’re day traders. Substitute teachers. They’re just passing through. They have no skin in this game, and it shows."...….

Christopher Bedford: "When Trump debated Hillary Clinton on the border, he didn’t color his language with “act of love” or apologies for our law. “We have some bad hombres,” he told the country, “and we’re going to get them out.” The professionals were aghast. Large swathes of the country, however, agreed with him."...….

Ben Boychuk: "A president is not a king or the country’s dad, though heaven knows it sometimes feels that way. The “public character” of a nation is greater than one man – or at least it had better be. ...The greatness agenda is a disruptive agenda. It isn’t particularly “conservative.” It disrupts the status quo. It unsettles longstanding alliances. It makes guys like Mitt Romney uncomfortable. It’s also a necessary and overdue corrective.".......

Governor Jerry Brown: "...it had nothing to do with the law of California," the false words coming out of his mouth and falling to the ground where all the victims of his dereliction of duty had also died.

Democrats All Agree...With President Trump. Or at least, they used to--before they lost their minds, hardened their hearts and turned their back on their own country.

Derelict No More

UPDATE: Good to see Mitch finally get off his ass and help this President.
