Benghazi No More: Five Things You Will Never Hear President Trump Say

“At this time in Iran, 50 Americans are still held captive, innocent victims of terrorism and anarchy.”
"We have communicated in no uncertain terms with every player in the region that that’s a red line for us."
"I didn't set a red line."
“Here’s what happened; you had a video that was released by somebody who lives here, sort of a shadowy character who–who made an extremely offensive video directed at–at Mohammed and Islam–making fun of the Prophet Mohammed. And so, this caused great offense in much of the Muslim world. But what also happened, extremists and terrorists used this as an excuse to attack a variety of our embassies, including the one, the consulate in Libya.”
“What difference, at this point, does it make?”
A: All the difference in the world, lady, all the difference in the world.

FOX: "U.S. officials have blamed the militia for a rocket barrage Friday that killed a U.S. defense contractor, wounded four U.S. troops and two members of the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) near Kirkuk, in northern Iraq. Military forces said the attackers fired more than 30 rockets in Friday's assault — the 11th rocket attack on U.S. and Iraqi forces since late October, according to a U.S. defense official. Five locations — including three Kataeb Hezbollah areas in Iraq and two in Syria — were targeted, Hoffman said in a statement. He said the U.S. strikes will weaken the group's ability to carry out future attacks on Americans and their Iraqi government allies. Iraq Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi denounced the strikes, saying that the leader of the Iranian-based militia is a "U.S. designated terrorist."

"Aby Mohandis (is) blamed for the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait two months after Beirut," he said. "But his militia fought against ISIS and is under the umbrella of Iraq's security forces."Earlier this month, Pompeo blamed Iran for two separate rocket attacks on the Baghdad International Airport, on Dec. 9 and 11, where U.S. and Iraqi forces are located on the other side of the commercial airport. Pompeo said if any Americans were harmed in the future, it would "be answered with a decisive U.S. response."
Tony Badran, a research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, called the attack an "important moment in the U.S.'s Iraq policy. Especially over the past decade, counterterrorism has not only encouraged inertia, but also has served as a smokescreen to put the U.S. in a de facto alliance with Iran, including the Obama administration providing Iranian-led militias with cover and support for ground operations," he added. "The Trump administration has been slowly moving away from that, first through quiet acquiescence to ti Israeli strikes and now by retaliating directly against attacks by these militias. This change in posture is as necessary as it is overdue." …….
I have zero problem with taking out 5 Hezbollah positions after warning them that killing Americans was a Red Line. Obama set down a Red Line and crawled away. Should we let them drive us out of our Embassy, too?

I don’t think the Deep State wants a war with Iran–certainly not the Obama/Brennan Deep State. Hell, they surrendered to Iran. Mitch barely objected to the Iran Deal. Brennan let them do Khobar Towers and Barry gave them everything they wanted including Iraq. McCain, Hillary and Obama created the Free Syrian Army, aka; ISIL to conquer Syria as a gift to the Ayatollah. The rabble-rouser outside the Embassy today was Sotero’s dinner guest.

I do think Mitch is using impeachment for leverage--but he's not the only one who has leverage, is he? Our President built his career on it.

They may be trying to thwart an Afghan or Iraq withdrawal, but even they know America is sick of these shithole wars.

You know you’ve been at war too long when your former detainees are serving in Congress.
Iran killed an American contractor, wounding many. We strongly responded, and always will. Now Iran is orchestrating an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Iraq. They will be held fully responsible. In addition, we expect Iraq to use its forces to protect the Embassy, and so notified! To those many millions of people in Iraq who want freedom and who don’t want to be dominated and controlled by Iran, this is your time! The U.S. Embassy in Iraq is, & has been for hours, SAFE! Many of our great Warfighters, together with the most lethal military equipment in the world, was immediately rushed to the site. Thank you to the President & Prime Minister of Iraq for their rapid response upon request....Iran will be held fully responsible for lives lost, or damage incurred, at any of our facilities. They will pay a very BIG PRICE! This is not a Warning, it is a Threat. Happy New Year! The Anti-Benghazi! The Fake News said I played golf today, and I did NOT! I had meeting in various locations, while closely monitoring the U.S. Embassy situation in Iraq, which I am still doing. The Corrupt Lamestream Media knew this but, not surprisingly, failed to report or correct! Wonderful account of U.S. Embassy (Iraq) vs. the Benghazi disaster: "The Left wanted another Benghazi but Trump called in the Devil Dogs!"
It's Mourning in Anti-America--UPDATE: NYT: “Hundreds of Iraqi mourners tried to storm the United States Embassy.” “Mourners”? The Times is in mourning–for their precious Narrative.

We have mourners, too. They fly F-15’s.

Honky-Tonkin--UPDATE: Conservative Treehouse views this as an Agit-Prop event:

"On the same day the U.S-Afghanistan ceasefire agreement is announced, Secretary Pompeo, Secretary Esper and JCS Mark Milley travel to Mar-a-Lago to brief President Trump on a range of new airstrikes... President Trump is silent for three days as Secretary Pompeo, Secretary Esper and JCS Milley inform the media of new issues in/around Iraq. The evidence of Iranian involvement against the Kirkuk base is a located abandoned truck with unfired rockets -with Iranian labels- located near the origination of the attack.

As a result of the increased risk and hostility to U.S. interests in/around the U.S. embassy in Iraq; and as a result of escalating friction caused by the original Iranian-militia attack; and as a result of the two U.S. air strikes in response to that initial attack; and out of an abundance of caution that our U.S. embassy in Iraq does not turn into another Benghazi-like outcome; we are now sending 4,000 more U.S. troops into Iraq. All of this, we are told, is the result of rockets fired into an airbase in Kirkuk by “Iranian” militia; who our intelligence services identified from an abandoned truck and un-fired missiles with Iranian stickers. You decide…" …….
I don’t want it to be true, but I believe it could be true. It all fits too well. I can’t get
past how it comes before any coup indictments and while impeachment is still open.

I support targeting Hezbollah and helping Israel–but I don’t support using that act
to thwart the President’s plans for withdrawal, to keep the spending flowing
or to try to damage the President politically. Like Goldfinger said–
the third time is enemy action.

We know that a good act can be done for the wrong reason or even done
for a mix of both good and bad motives.

Unless Pompeo and Esper are different, I don’t think they want war with Iran.
Official Washington spent the previous 8 years trying to surrender to Iran–
including Mitch's Failure Theater, the Corker Bill, designed not to protect Americans
from terrorists, but to protect politicians from Americans. They don’t want war–just war funding.
President Trump isn't fooled and he has this well in hand. Any schemes will fall to ground
like all the others. I hope I'm wrong that this was manipulated.
As bad as Obama's treason with Iran was, at least people knew it was his policy
and adjusted their vote accordingly. When unelected officials run their own
foreign policy, it thwarts that accountability. No Americans ever consented to be governed by unnacoutable bureaucrats, but by a president of their own free choice. And that is why
there has been a non-stop assault on that free choice for years now--even to this very evening.
