"... She was, best we can tell, not a real person. Pollyanna was a best-selling1913 novel by an author named Eleanor Porter and then she had over 10 sequels that she wrote. Her books and her writing became very popular and they were called the Glad Books.
So Pollyanna Whittier is a young orphan who goes to live with her wealthy but stern Aunt Polly in Vermont. Pollyanna's philosophy of life centers on what she calls the Glad Game. Like in whatsoever state I am, I can be content. She learned from her father. The game consists of finding something to be glad of in every situation. I don't know where else you get it, but from Paul. Paul said in whatsoever state I am there to be content. With this philosophy, Pollyanna transforms her aunt's dispirited New England hometown and it becomes a pleasant place to live. She changes a whole town with this disposition. She teaches some of the town's most troubled citizens to play the Glad Game and it transforms them.
Glad Clubs formed everywhere. People would get together, it was really popular on Thursday nights that they're having a Glad Club and so everybody goes to the Glad Club to tell something good that is happening in the midst of a testing, even while that's taking place. Pollyanna has a buoyant refusal to be downcast. Her aunt is the slowest to be won over. But Pollyanna's robust optimism is given an ultimate challenge when she is hit by a car and loses the use of her legs.
As it sets in, what this means, she begins to lose her joy because day after day after day in bed, she can't find anything to be glad about. My goodness. This time she begins to reap what she has sowed in a good way. As town's people begin calling and telling her Aunt Polly how her previous encouragement improved their lives. Pollyanna decides she can be glad that at least she still has her legs. There is a happy ending and she regains usage of legs and learns to walk again. She is now glad she went through what she did because she appreciates walking more than ever.
This story had anointing on it for us, but again, it's become badmouthed over the years and it's become badmouthed in the body of Christ and I've actually been accused of that. Who of us haven't said that a hundred times in our life? I don't mean to be all Pollyanna on you, because we're apologizing for being optimistic about something, being able to find the silver lining, find the Lord, find out even though I'm walking through the valley of the shadow of death, I don't have to fear. That's what David's saying in Psalm 23.
This evil thinking against Pollyanna persists today. The Lord told me12 years ago "I want a Pollyanna bride and a Pollyanna people."
So Pollyanna became known as the Glad Girl. Parker Brothers had a board game for over 50 years. They had a board game called the Glad Game. It was implementing this kingdom truth. Never called it kingdom truth. I've never had a heard of a pastor or minister praise this at all. And it's always been looked down at. The Holy Spirit's telling me to hang on this for just a minute right now. There is way too much validation in the body of Christ for what the 10 spies do. The 10 spies go and become experts on what the enemy is doing. And we have a whole lot of ministries. We have a whole lot of Christian influencers who are building audiences. And you have ministers building audiences or being 10 spies where is you highlight how you can see the enemy.
The 10 spies were slain before the Lord for causing the people to be disheartened from what the Lord actually had for them. If we go to the Biblical storyline, Caleb obviously is the ultimate Pollyanna. Caleb says, "They will be bread for us." He's like, "I see them. Yeah, they're big. Um, yeah, they're ferocious. But listen, we can be the head, not the tail, because that's what He wants us to be. Look at these grapes. They're all ready. Again, that's the Glad Game. Here's the grapes. Yeah, it's a land that has no Christian presence, no Jewish presence for them. These are Nephilim. These are the worst of the worst idolators, religious corruption, and evil at its highest. And this is who they are. Again, we have to be careful. I hear the Holy Spirit saying, "Hang on this just a little bit, Johnny." There is there is a real danger right now in the body of Christ of us hanging on [to the bad report].
It's one thing to expose the lies, which we do need to do, but the other is just hanging on it, making that our reality, and forgetting to add "It will be bread for us, the Lord is for us." This is where the Lord wants us to make an adjustment today." .......

"... We were never designed to have to process the worst of the worst news of 8 billion people on the planet. I've had to tell intercessors, if you think your assignment is to go find the worst news in the world and get under it, you are going to you are you are going to so smash your spirit. You're going to bring yourself under depressive depression because you are not called to do that. And you are called to be an intercessor. You ask the Holy Spirit what he wants you to carry, but you cannot carry the bad news, the worst news of 8 billion people on the planet.
God is on the move. I just I think I just pointed out by reading some of the news of the day. If there are 137,000 people a day coming to the Lord, 38,000 a day coming to the Lord in China, maybe a million people being filled with the Holy Spirit every day. How's that even possible? 500 churches being planted every single day. Candace Owen's extreme perspectives are not killing the move of God on planet Earth.How many people got healed yesterday? We have no idea.
How many people ask forgiveness in the context of family or whatever? We have no idea.
How many people were kind and did so motivated by God and the Holy Spirit? We have no idea how many were generous even in their tips or what they gave whatever. How many people yielded to God in some way?What was God doing behind the scenes in freeing up the nations? We have no idea from yesterday's news or from the weekend's news. It just comes out after a while. And so, God is advancing what he's doing. how the kingdom of God is the storyline of this day and there is a golden age and it's a golden age of the kingdom more than anything that is being advanced and the enemy is not winning...It will be bread for us as we rise and shine. The Lord is saying, I will work with you. I have put my man Trump to begin at a nation's level addressing this mafia that has ruled the nations. And so we do have to rise and shine......So in the name of Jesus, I release the power of the kingdom of God and everyone who's listening and in any way that you need to receive it for eliminating sickness and disease and for any way you have been buffeted by the enemy for discouragement, for depression, for suicidal thoughts be blown off of you in the name of Jesus. "... If all the spiritual people withdraw from government, who's left to be involved but the less spiritual. So when they when the Christians voluntarily withdraw themselves from the government arena, the ambitious people take over, I mean, they got they're less spiritual and they flip it from a bottom up form of government back to a top down form of state government. And then they're not content with ruling the state top down. They want to go back to ruling the church top down.
So you begin to have government people saying, "We want you to shut your church down. We're going to arrest the pastor. We're going to tell you that you have to social distance and you can't sing songs and have communion and pass the plate. You can't do any of this stuff. And all you have to do is look at the rest of the world and see how the state is.
They want to go back to Nebuchadnezzar where the state is ruling the government and the church top down. So the separation is this this idea that okay, we want to withdraw. You do live holy but you still want to be involved. Why? Because a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children.
And so Hezekiah was sick and the recovered ambassadors from Babylon come and he shows him all the treasures. And Isaiah said what did you show him? and he pridefully says everything. And Isaiah said, "Well, all that treasure is going to be in Babylon and your sons will be eunuchs in the palace of Babylon." And Hezekiah's response was, "Well, as long as it's going to be okay during my lifetime."
And you're like, "Don't you care about your kids and grandkids?" When David was told his son by Bathsheba was going to die, he threw himself on his face and fasted for a week. And so, here we are. If we are good people, we're going to care about what kind of country we're leaving our kids. So I tell them the most important thing is to bring people to Christ.
But the second most important thing is to preserve the freedom to do the most important thing." .......
