"... the Holy Spirit got a hold of one ear and my wife got a hold of the other ear and they both began talking to me today about how much that there is an attack against people's faith and we have to remain strong. And so I'm going to talk to you about it from the standpoint of what the Holy Spirit shared with me about a month ago. I had a dynamic powerful vision, rainbow glory of God coming through the spiritual atmosphere toward the earth and believers caught away in the presence of Jesus and being filled with His glory so that there could be a mighty revival being poured out and that they'd do the work of evangelism on the earth and all of those wonderful things.
But in the midst of that vision, an angel spoke to me and he said that faith is the believer's rest. Whether they are worshiping God and in His presence or whether they are out doing the works of Jesus, faith is their rest. And we need rest.
...I teach on three A-words and that's approval, authority, and anointing. You see, we have the Father's approval. He loves us. Approval is the right to be. We have the right to be who he created us to be. We're new creations in Christ Jesus. We're children of the most high God. We have the right to know that, believe that, and stand on it. That increases our faith also. What about authority? Jesus gives to us His authority. He said, "All authority both in heaven and in earth has been given unto Me. Therefore, you go." So, we have his authority. And authority is the right to act to do to do the works of Jesus. Praise God. And then we also have anointing. And that's by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit anoints us, empowers us, leads us, guides us. It's the ability to act. So, we have the right to be, we have the right to act, and we have the ability and power to act. All of those things increase our faith and knowledge. Praise God. We can do it because the entire Godhead is behind us, cheering us on. The angels of God are there doing works, ministering for us. So we can have great faith. And we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith is that complete trust and reliance on the Lord Jesus Christ and believing His word, believing the Holy Spirit's voice, believing those things of the kingdom above all other natural knowledge and and circumstances and facts that might be because God's word is truth. Praise God.
... A lot of people think that there's just one definition or application I should say of faith. There is one definition that's complete trust and reliance on God and on his word. But it applies to different things in our life.
There's saving faith, it's what I call saving faith. You know, in Ephesians 2:8, it says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith." We believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. ...
There's a second application of faith. It's what I call productive faith. Productive faith is faith that is put
into action. You're producing something. You're doing something. That's why Jesus said before he left this earth that the works that I do and greater works than these shall you do because I go to My Father. Okay? We do the works of Jesus. We do the word. The word says preach the gospel. So we do it. The word says lay hands on the sick. So we do it. The word says cast out demons. So we do it. The word says speak with new tongues. So we do it. The word says resist the devil and he'll flee from us. So we do it. Productive faith with all things, standing on the promises of God. ...
So, the Bible says there's a third kind of faith and it's what I call keeping faith. 1 Peter 1:9, receive the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls. So the end of the faith is keeping the faith all the way through your entire life. ...
Faith is one of the things that Jesus talked about the most. He rebuked those who didn't have faith. He told people that needed miracles and touch from God to have faith. And then he commended those who demonstrated faith. ...
And so, no matter how long it takes before the Lord's return and no matter how dark, because we look at scriptures and and of course people say, "Well, oh,it's going to get so bad." When does the devil and anything he can do on the face of this earth minimize, wane and disempower God in our lives and circumstances? I tell you what now. Greater is he who is in us than he that is in the world. This is the victory over the world, even our faith. ...
The Holy Spirit doesn't diminish in power and authority all the way up to the very end. Don't let the enemy trick you into thinking, "Oh, you're gonna have trouble financially." No, you're not going to have trouble financially. I mean, there may be financial setbacks and things that come against you, but it's not because the devil is getting more powerful. And it's not because the Holy Spirit is getting less powerful or that your covenant promises are less powerful, that God is not really able to keep them like He promised right now because circumstances are too difficult in the world. Think about it. Think about those things. Why would we even swallow that garbage?
Jesus is the strong man on the inside of you. Hallelujah!" .......
