Democrat Daze: Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor Excuse for a Party Hack Who is Making Lady Liberty Cry

Sam Donaldson: "Mr. President, in talking about the continuing recession tonight, you have blamed mistakes in the past. You have blamed the Congress. Does any of the blame belong to you?"
President Reagan: "Yes, because for many years I was a Democrat!"

Everybody has a different inflection point. Reagan's probably began when he saw Communist-led goons throw acid at actresses.

Mine came in '94 when Empress Hillary tried to railroad Billy Dale into the federal penitentiary for felony Inconveniencing of Her Majesty. I said silently to myself (cos' it's really hard to say something silently to others): "If that's what a Democrat is, I'm not one."

And I haven't cast a vote for so much as a Democrat dog-catcher since then.

But lately, I find myself reconsidering. Democrats have been saying some pretty wise things.

On visas:
We must tighten loopholes in the Visa Waiver prgm, ensure passports can’t be faked & stop terrorists who want to exploit the system.

On vote fraud: "It helps in Ohio that we got Democrats in charge of the machines. But look, I come from Chicago, so, so I want to be honest. It’s not as if it’s just Republicans who have monkeyed around with elections in the past. Sometimes Democrats have, too. Whenever people are in power they’re, you know, they have this tendency to try to, you know, tilt things in their direction."--Barack Obama, 2008

On violent extremism: "Let me be very clear: We monitor the risks of violent extremism taking root here in the United States. We don't have the luxury of focusing our efforts on one group; we must protect the country from terrorism whether foreign or homegrown, and regardless of the ideology that motivates its violence."--UC Berkeley President Janet Napolitano, while head of Homeland Security

On illegal immigration: "Our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more, by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens. In the budget I will present to you, we will try to do more to speed the deportation of illegal aliens who are arrested for crimes, to better identify illegal aliens in the workplace as recommended by the commission headed by former Congresswoman Barbara Jordan. We are a nation of immigrants. But we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years, and we must do more to stop it.”President Bill Clinton, 1995 State of the Union

On the election: “Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and a chance to lead.”--Hillary Clinton

On the Wall: “Democrats are solidly behind controlling the border, and we support the border fence. We have to get tough on the border. There’s no question the border is a sieve.”--Sen. Diane Feinstein, 2006

On the Muslim Ban by House Democrats serving on various Intel Committees: “As of 2/2, his employment with our office has been terminated.”-- Rep. Joaquin Castro's office, on brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan, who illegally accessed national security secrets and committed financial fraud. Others reps who banned them include Wasserman-Schulz, Duckworth, Richmond, Speier, Carson and Frankel. Unclear if another man, Omar Awan, senior IT specialist for the House’s Chief Administrative Officer, would also be banned.

On the Slurpee Ban: "You CANNOT go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent ... I'm not joking."--Joe Biden

Hmmm. On second second thought, I'm With Him!(tm):
