Man's Plastic Dam Ends Up Saving His Home

"Neighbors and other residents of Rosharon, Texas, ridiculed a homeowner for building a plastic dam around his house, but now he gets the last laugh.

“I was the crazy guy. Everybody was kinda going by, laughing at me. But today they are really impressed with this AquaDam,” Wagner told KHOU." ..............

For the $8k it cost, maybe the house could have been built on a high wall instead, though that's not an option after the house has been built. I dunno.

I'm only surprised local Democrats didn't file suit to make him remove the dam in order to share the dryness with everyone. And the misery.
