What they were getting from these lectures and discussions, often lengthy and often on arcane subjects, was perhaps the only sustained argument against identity politics they had heard in their lives.

That might seem like a small thing, but it’s not. With identity politics off the table, it was possible to talk about all kinds of things—religion, philosophy, history, myth—in a different way. They could have a direct experience with ideas, not one mediated by ideology. All of these young people, without quite realizing it, were joining a huge group of American college students who were pursuing a parallel curriculum, right under the noses of the people who were delivering their official educations.

Because all of this was happening silently, called down from satellites and poured in through earbuds—and not on campus free-speech zones where it could be monitored, shouted down, and reported to the appropriate authorities—the left was late in realizing what an enormous problem it was becoming for it. It was like the 1960s, when kids were getting radicalized before their parents realized they’d quit glee club. And it was not just college students. Not by a long shot. ...

 

There is also the inaccurate belief that he refuses to refer to transgender people by the gendered pronoun conforming to their identity. What he refuses to do is to abide by any laws that could require compelled speech.

There are plenty of reasons for individual readers to dislike Jordan Peterson. He’s a Jungian and that isn’t your cup of tea; he is, by his own admission, a very serious person and you think he should lighten up now and then; you find him boring; you’re not interested in either identity politics or in the arguments against it. There are many legitimate reasons to disagree with him on a number of subjects, and many people of good will do. But there is no coherent reason for the left’s obliterating and irrational hatred of Jordan Peterson. What, then, accounts for it?

 

It is because the left, while it currently seems ascendant in our houses of culture and art, has in fact entered its decadent late phase, and it is deeply vulnerable. The left is afraid not of Peterson, but of the ideas he promotes, which are completely inconsistent with identity politics of any kind.".......

Get Your Facts--and Opinions--Straight

This is weird.

When so much alleged journalism is actually opinion masquerading as fact, The Hill forces reporter John Solomon file his top-notch, straight-ahead opinion-free reporting as "Opinion", simply because he's reporting on the actions of Ohr, Steele, Yates and Simpson.

In other words, since the facts make Obama look bad, the facts must be opinions.

Solomon reports (not "opines"):

"The FBI specifically instructed Steele that he could no longer “operate to obtain any intelligence whatsoever on behalf of the FBI,” those memos show.
Yet, Steele asked Ohr in the Jan. 31 text exchange if he could continue to help feed information to the FBI: “Just want to check you are OK, still in the situ and able to help locally as discussed, along with your Bureau colleagues.”
“I’m still here and able to help as discussed,” Ohr texted back. “I’ll let you know if that changes.”
Steele replied, “If you end up out though, I really need another (bureau?) contact point/number who is briefed. We can’t allow our guy to be forced to go back home. It would be disastrous.” Investigators are trying to determine who Steele was referring to.
FBI officials now admit they continued to receive information from Steele through Ohr, identifying more than a half-dozen times its agents interviewed Ohr in late 2016 and 2017, to learn what Steele was saying.

There is not one "opinion" in that piece. Just facts. And labelling facts as "Opinion" is itself an opinion. Not to mention gutless.

Democrats make the ludicrous claim that it is a illegal campaign contribution for someone to tell the Trumps about the bribes Hillary took from Russia. Yet Hillary actually paid Russians for dirt on Trump.

And why isn't the false flag work Ms. Veselnitskya did for Fusion GPS and Hillary that day also a campaign contribution to the Clinton campaign? Were all those illegal leaks also illegal campaign contributions? Not to mention CNN giving Hillary the debate questions.

DACA stands for Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals. The "Action" in question is the enforcement of current, actual, existing law, which was passed by Congresses and signed by presidents.

The Constitution says the Executive Officer must faithfully execute the laws--not faithfully defer them. Hawaii Judge says the enforcement of Actual Existing Law must not only be temporarily deferred--it must be permanently cancelled!
