"It was not bad enough that they threatened to prosecute of LTG Flynn’s son on false charges to coerce a guilty plea and cooperation again Trump, et. al. No, they then hid the fact that they made this promise to LTG Flynn by not putting it in the plea agreement as mandated by law. That way, as honest ex-prosecutor Andrew McCarthy figured out, they ensured that when they put LTG Flynn up to testify against a someone from Trumpworld, maybe even the president himself, the jury would never know the real reason LTG Flynn pleaded guilty – that he was forced to protect his family from false charges. They did this intending to lie to future juries. ...

Our justice system is really two justice systems, one for them and one for us, which means that we have no justice system at all.

That’s more than just galling. It’s poisonous. A free society cannot exist like this long and remain a free society. These people, who we trusted with the most solemn of duties, betrayed their oaths and betrayed us for grubby political advantage. This was not done for some higher purpose. It was not some misguided pursuit of justice by frustrated public servants who were willing to bend some rules to right some wrongs. These people were serving only themselves and their self-interest, hoping that when they brought down the Republican administration the American people elected, they would personally benefit from the largesse of the Democratic administration that replaced it.

They are worse than the gangsters the FBI became famous chasing. These disgraces, who frame political opponents, pretended to be public servants upholding their oaths while their criminal treachery served only their cheesy ambition. At least Willie Sutton was honest enough to admit (perhaps apocryphally) that he robbed banks because “That’s where the money is.”.......

And the Obama/Clinton Crime Syndicate attempted to rob our Elections...because that's where the power is.

The Chicken Wingman--UPDATE: Despite a court order, Covington & Burling, Attorneys at Swamp refuse to give up partner Eric Holder's phone records and notes on the Flynn case. Which is weird, because it wasn't his case.

Meanwhile, Oversight Ranking Member Jim Jordan asks FBI Dir. Wray why he is obstructing justice.

Also, the CIA is hiding a report that says Putin actually wanted Hilary to win. Of course he did--he had successfully bribed the Clintons for years. John Brennan flipped that report on its head.

Red State: "Heck, the Times isn’t even really hiding the ball, as the first paragraph in their article casts aspersions on Durham’s new thread: (NYT:) 'Trump administration officials investigating the government’s response to Russia’s election interference in 2016 appear to be hunting for a basis to accuse Obama-era intelligence officials of hiding evidence or manipulating analysis about Moscow’s covert operation, according to people familiar with aspects of the inquiry.'"

Just for fun, let's Fisk the half-dozen lies the Times packs into one short paragraph.

1.) "Trump administration officials"--they mean Durham, a career prosecutor, not really a Trumpie.

2.)  "Russia's election interference"--any Russian interference pales into nothingness beside the American Deep State's interference.

3.) "hunting for a basis to accuse Obama-era intelligence officials"--not seeking the truth, but persecuting. In other words, exactly what they did to Flynn. 

4.) This is a version of "Republicans Pounce", which as even small children now know, is a way to protect Democrats. If a Democrat commits a crime, that is not the issue. The issue is that "Republicans pounced"on the criminality.

5.) "Moscow's covert operation"--They bought a few Facebook ads. This was Langley's covert operation.

6.) "according to people familiar"--in other words, the defendant John Brennan. Or nobody at all.

In the Senate, Fake Independent Angus King is whining that he has to choose between Ratcliffe or extending the reign of Grenell. heh. Swampy McConnell had reversed the Constitutional order, where he made appointments with the Advice and Consent of the President. That's how we got saddled with sub-par Swamp incompetents like Chris Wray.  But our President is restoring the Framer’s Constitution, something he has done consistently since coming to Sewer City.

Not because he’s a conservative, but because he’s a patriot. 

It just comes naturally to him.
