"Seddique Mateen, the father of Omar Mateen, the shooter who attacked the Pulse nightclub in Orlando in June, was spotted in the crowd behind Hillary Clinton at a rally in Kissimmee, Florida on Monday.

Clinton, who was discussing jobs and the economy, opened the rally by honouring the victims of the shooting.

NBC affiliate WPTV caught up with Mateen in the parking lot following the rally to find out why he was at the event, and what he thought about Clinton’s comments.
“We’ve been cooperating with the federal government, FBI, and that’s about it. Thank you,” said Mateen who refused to answer any more questions.
But Mateen was more willing to talk when the same WPTV journalist encountered him by chance at a roadside stop just a short time later.
“I was invited by the Democratic Party,” Mateen told reporter Tory Dunnan. “It’s the Democratic party, so everybody can join.” ...
Mateen, who lives in Port St. Lucie, about 200 kilometres south of Orlando, also spoke about why he was supporting Clinton for president and condemned the actions of his son.
“I love the United States and I’ve been living here for a long time,” he said. “I wish my son joined the Army and fought ISIS and destroyed ISIS, that would be much better.”
Omar Mateen opened fire at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando during “Latin Night” on June 12 in a rampage that left 49 dead and 53 wounded.
The 29-year-old, who pledged allegiance to the so-called Islamic State during a call with police dispatchers amid a three-hour standoff, died in a hail of gunfire after police stormed the venue.
Omar Mateen was born in New York after his family immigrated from Afghanistan.
The FBI investigated Mateen twice between 2013 and 2014, but both cases were closed without the agency taking action." .......
Oh, the FBI took action, alright: The Club Massacre. And the father Seddique was, of course, an "FBI informant". As usual.

Nidal Hasan was mentored by Anwar al Awlaki, who was Tenet’s USS Cole “informant”. The CIA sprang him from Yemeni prison. Then he was Dirty Bob Mueller’s 9/11 “informant”, and allowed to escape the US afterwards. Then he was Hasan’s mentor, which was allowed by FBI Headquarters, which resulted in the Ft. Hood Massacre.
Then Obama silenced him with a drone.
17 sailors, 3000 civilians and 13 dead and 30 wounded soldiers. By one “informant”.
This “informant” con has gone on so long, its generational.

Seddique Mateen had himself become embroiled in controversy as the host of the “Durand Jirga Show” on a channel called Payam-e-Afghan, which broadcasts from California. In it, the elder Mateen speaks in the Dari language on a variety of political subjects. Dozens of videos are posted on a channel under Seddique Mateen’s name on YouTube. A phone number and post office box that are displayed on the show were traced back to the Mateen home in Florida. Mateen also owns a nonprofit organization under the name Durand Jirga, which is registered in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
In one video, the elder Mateen expresses gratitude toward the Afghan Taliban, while denouncing the Pakistani government.
“Our brothers in Waziristan, our warrior brothers in [the] Taliban movement and national Afghan Taliban are rising up,” he said. “Inshallah the Durand Line issue will be solved soon.”
It is unclear if his statements ever attracted the attention of the FBI…." .......
Of course his statements attracted the FBI. That's why they hired him.
